Looks all correct to me. This game and quite a few of its Irem contemporaries have relatively small hitboxes for their time, well within the boundaries of the onscreen sprite; plus he kept clear of the tentacle and the boulder alike.
Good watch but your wrong about the 2nd loop being relatively easy. Would like to see you try your hand on the mobile shump content, but I know that will never happen..
@@ubervirtuoso Jamiers is obviously going by his experience of mastering this at the convenience of his home and not from playing at the arcade scene at time. Recovery after a life loss is slightly different on coin up, obviously you didn't have turbo fire back then. I only knew of a handful of players that managed to 2CC the arcade version back in the day and possibly one player that managed to 2CC no miss which was an insane run considering how brutal the game with your first life on 1st and 2nd loop without loss...

The stage 4 music is strangely soothing.
The music in Stage 3 is so cinematic like CLOCKWORK ORANGE I hate that they changed it halfway thru to a more generic track
