Good tutorial - overlapping hairs is really tough, even with ZS ! - try the Zerene Stacker plug-in for LR. All you do is select your images and the File/Export with Preset and choose ZS.
This is fantastic. I already stack, however i forgot about overlaying PMAX and DMAP to get the cleaner parts of the image. Thanks and good luck with your macro adventures.
Well explained. Been using ZS for some time now, usually with deep stacks of 100-250 images in studio. That’s when slabbing helps a great deal, especially when editing. I usually save my slabs for future software changes that might prove more useful in editing. I do have a question though: your gear includes an OM SYSTEM OLYMPUS OM-D E-M1 Mark II Camera Body, 60mm macro, along w/ Godox and flash diffuser. I’m looking for a lightweight field kit similar to yours. What would you change in your kit, given the opportunity at this point? Thx.
amazing tutorial, thanks!
Thanks for letting us take a look at your workshop, I learned a lot of practical things.
Great edit young man, you already seem to have a good command of photoshop and the stacking software, well done, lovely image. 😊
Great video! Learned a lot, thanks!

Thanks for sharing your tutorial. What version of Zerene do you have?
Thanks for posting. Are you using the Prosumer version of Zerene or have you found the Personal version is adequate please?
I have the prosumer version and it is not much different from the personal version. I rarely use the features included with prosumer
