Hey, Andy. Well done on the pack, mate. Bugger the haters - making the pack your own is the best thing I've taken from your videos. I was putting alot of pressure on myself to mod the best "screen accurate" pack I could, but after seeing these, I thought, stuff it. I'll make it as if it were MY pack. So I've settled on a black and green theme for my pack, which I'm really excited to get started on. Just wanted to say thanks for the vids, mate and I appreciate the inspiration you've given me and the fear that's been lost with it. Cheers from Australia, brother 🤙🤙
My strap on one side also pulled through and the pack hit the floor. I was not amused in the least! Actually, I was quiet shocked!!! I tied a knot in the end of the strap to keep it from pulling through again. It works for now until I find a better solution. Thankfully there was no damage to the pack.
I saw the copper tape on Adam Savages channel too. I do like that, but I want to try and replicate the wires with copper eyelets and real wire if I can find everything in the right sizes. I'm sure with a little digging I will be able to because they did it on the real Phoebe pack. Haven't seen anyone do that yet. I'm surprised Adam didn't go that route. I'm not throwing off on the tape method. It looks very good and is much easier than what I want to try. Great videos. Keep it coming.
I've seen that same shoulder strap come undone several times (to me and others), even when its just holding lighter Spirit packs. Apparently the buckle is not bent to the same degree as on the older frames, and so it has a harder time gripping the fabric of the straps. I went and stitched the strap into itself with some needle and thread so that its no longer adjustable, but should hopefully prevent it from sliding again.
I like the idea of a mini extinguisher to put out the littles fires that are created when your proton stream misses that darn ghost... You could maybe add an 80's style fire extinguisher logo or incorporate the ghostbusters "firehouse" as part of any designs on the extinguisher? You are right not to place it on the right hand side as it would be a shame to hide the hazard tape.
Appreciate the videos, as a complete novice I've picked up some handy techniques from your vids that I've applied to my own pack, also wouldn't say no to a touch of copper tape :P happy to cover the postage.
You could always use the fire extinguisher for a Slime Blower attachment like the video game Pack.
Great idea. Thanks for watching

Aw thanks fella. That's really nice to hear. Great that some of my wierd has rubbed off on someone. Hahaha.
Have a great day buddy

Glad your pack wasn't damaged. These things seem to be built well.
Looks excellent!
Thanks
I like what you did to the proton pack.
Very kind of you to say buddy
Awesome Weathering Mod.
Thanks my dude.
I think your weathering ideas are awesome. You made your pack look so good. Hope I can do something like that.
Thanks dude. That means a lot. Glad I can inspire others. Have fun with your pack fella.

That sounds awesome. I hope you can find the bits for it. Good luck. And thanks for watching
Truthfully, your method is probably easier assuming you find the right parts. Putting the tape on was very tedious.
@@thenerdofalltrades8190 yeah the tape took time and effort.
It's awesome.
Thanks for watching fella
please share some detailed photos! I love your techinques and the simpleness of some!
I've put detailed images in the video. But I have more on my Facebook group. The link is on my channel page at the top
Thanks for watching
Your mods look great mate. I am probably going to replace as much as i can, with real parts. Including real Clippard values and brass.
Thanks for watching dude

Cheers for the ideas dude. I'm still pondering what to do with it. So any ideas are welcome.

Think you should weather the trap to blend it all together
I'm on it dude. Straps and my flight suit are in the process of being weathered. That'll be the next video.
Question... other than the grip cover over the shotgun handle, have you done any other mods to your wand?
Nothing to change the look, other than weathering with a bit of rub n buff
