Learn all the foods to eat first, and where to find them in town. You were standing by the big crocks, an empty bowl could have gotten you broth and stew. Kitchen crate had some pies, several different crops on the farm to eat raw. And of course talk. Ask questions, ask where things are or how to do things. Seems like your mom could have done more to help out, but otherwise ask one of the guys to teach you (if they aren't new) since they won't have a baby mid-lesson to interrupt learning.
I be honest, I wasn't expecting to get more then 10 views on this video, so I didn't put too much thought into it then I should. Next time I try to put more effort. But thanks for the tip.
