Best way to not be noob, find gun you really enjoy using. Mine is tapco SKS, my walls are full of SKS, SKS is god weapon, SKS is life and death. Then I fill shelter with SKS magazines, and grenade. When time for fun I bring bag of grenade with two others with bag of grenade and smoke. I claim center research on island with grenade goof bag and cause 420 explosive session on roof.
The problem i have is the aiming, i am new to VR but how on earth other players can kill me so fast, its like in a second i get a headshot, i havent even pointed the gun at them. With the Quest controllers it takes time to aim, to bring both front and rear sight together and it sometimes jump and jitter because of the bad tracking and also the virtual buttstock has often problems. Whats the secret behind it, a better ping and a physical buttstock? Or is the steam version different from my meta Quest and its Crossplay ? Are there any adjustments, maybe this needs to be tuned
@@MetaSukiya I do :( Edit: my bunker is FULL of weapons and gear, I actually use all my spare slots in the trading-room on the shelves for storing like 3-4 rifles on each shelf... but still, i cant make myself bring gear inside a raid x(
Gave the game a bit of a break after the previous wipe (there were some bugs that were getting on my nerves, even though I knew they got to be there because of "fixes against duping" breaking some stuff. The disappearing ammo one annoyed me the most, or not spawning in with any of the gear you brought)... Got back today, was pleasantly surprised with the amount of work that went into the game since I last played, otherwise it was like I never left, taking names and dogtags (can't wait for them to implement those) in MS... Did something like 18 raids, killed on average 3-4 players (ghosts) a raid, and got killed once... Rust levels were confirmed to be low LOL I recommended the game before, with caveats.. Now I can full heartedly recommend the game. It's great and I like the way the devs are involved with the community, regularly appearing in chats of bigger GoT streamers, (also giving streamers a spotlight on their channel)... And not only being there, but also listening to what is being said... And actually doing stuff with that.. This game is already great, and it's only going to get better (and more difficult, so... yeah better). And Tarkov likes aren't even my favorite genre (ItR would be more my cup of tea, but the enemies are really lame, atmospheric (They add well to the eerie vibe), but lame, you can easily get through the game without dying once, probably even without getting hurt), I don't particularly like the raid timer, but this game wouldn't work otherwise.. But already had a lot of fun with it, and surely are going to have a lot more fun with it in the future. Gunplay is actually really really good, I would have liked to have seen some more in depth consequential maintenance for weapons though. So you can actually do some relaxing between raids... brushing and cleaning some guns and magazines... But I suppose tracking weapon maintenance stats persistently when weapons change hands a lot is a bit of a headache/nightmare...
As a beginner in VR this game is really frustrating because it takes time to aim, to bringt both rear and frontside togehter but as soon as i only see a play i get a headshot, like i couldnt even react. Its like they knew where i am. Thats why i only do naked runs because i would loose anything anyway. The thing is the aiming takes time and to follow an enemy player with the sights, i use both hands on the weapons all the time and it feels strange because it sometimes jitter and jump, i use the quest 3 headseat. When i aim i have to tilt my head a bit to the right to see the sight, maybe i have to adjust here something. Another thing is how on earth people can give me headshots when take cover behind objects? Its like they still see me and shot through the metal objects.
So you will die really fast if you don’t have any gear on. I know it’s tough losing gear. But the only way you’re going to get is going fully geared with a weapon that you’re really good at Because I have done runs, and you can die so easy, especially from a Felix. And I was going to training and just keep practicing with the guns Also get a map awareness so you know where players are and just keep bad man it’s all about experience I wasn’t good at first time either but I kept it I know you can do this. Need help. Just join me on community days I gotcha.
One tip is you point where you look. Don't look over your shoulder if you're not pointing your gun. Otherwise the other player will be a step ahead of you.
@@PowuhToSevenright but one problem i also realized is the noise of players, at least on the quest 3 standalone version i can not really tell from where the noise comes, its very hard to realize. Does it come from behind me or from the right or maybe from above etc. You dont have the time to watch your back, the right side of you and the left side of you constantly and that causes many deaths. So in reality you only have a chance when you sitting there in a corner with your back and one side covered. I also dont understand why i only hear the footsteps of enemy players when its already to late, i can not hear the footsteps when they are like 10m away. Another thing is obviously the ping, i play on standalone quest version over Wifi (DSL), probably other players have better ping which can result in a disadvantage as well because maybe they see me earlier that way. This comes to another point, the PC version of GOT has more detaiils and you can see in the distance, since GOT is crossplay this can be a disadvantage as well.
We don't agree on some things, but I like your vids. I personally can't play with head tracking movement in any VR game (handtracking isn't great in Tabor, it would help, even fix a lot if it wouldn't invert if you lower/relax your hand). I would rather see in game character tracking for direction.. I tend to look around a lot and moving to a side I did not intent to, kinda doesn't agree with my inner-ear bit (I can play for 8h straight if I turn head oriented movement off, if I don't, I don't last 3 min..)... (Disclaimer: I might be weird like that, I could look behind me mid-corner at my instructor when he was teaching me to ride a motorcycle, he insisted that should not be possible, and I should have crashed right there... Also going where you're looking does not always apply to me apparently, just with panic and target focus) Honestly can't remember what the other point were... Prolly not important judging from this.. Enjoyed the vid and subbed. Oh I heard naked runs are bad.. that's something I don't agree on, but naked for me is: Makarov, few mags and backpack... nothing of actual value... So basically we do kinda agree..
As yeah my first game a player and I were talking he had nothing I had a gun I took off a body and he pulled my gun and killed me should have just killed first lol
Look don’t be mad at me anybody but how do you like the madam logo? Just how I mean I’m not saying that you can’t like it but I’m just asking how and why
It's probably best you clear it out before you go there or just start playing it smart bring grenades toss them in the area before you go over there there's a lot of ways the secure Loot
Im up to lvl 2 on my traders, almost 3 on minty n halfway to 3 on spector. Man armor is my problem. Fuckin pisses me off. I can only buy the black vest. Idk im ready to be able to buy good shit. Its getting old shooting pll just for them to turn around n murder me. My best shot is at 173.332 meters, i know im fucking hitting them, but its dumb
Yeah there's multiple ways to level up minty I just hate that they took away the trading system for him cuz I would have had them level five pretty soon

I guess some people just have gear fears

Yeah gun stocks help a lot and then also SKS is not the best gun for aiming
