I thought about how to install the National VX-2000 video deck. In the past, you would put it on top of a CRT TV, but with a digital TV, you can just leave space behind for the VCR and create an empty box about the height of the TV. (Note) Please take into consideration the heat from the digital TV and ensure good ventilation.
I believe this videotape was a recording of a local broadcast at the time. You can see it in the commercial after the movie. This is a broadcasting station in western Okayama Prefecture.
National VX-2000ビデオデッキの設置方法を考えてみました。昔はブラウン管テレビの上に置いていましたが、デジタルテレビではビデオデッキを置くスペースを残して、テレビの高さくらいの空き箱を作るだけで済みます。 (注)デジタルテレビからの熱に配慮し、換気を十分に行ってください。
このビデオテープは当時の地方放送を録画したものだと思います。映画の後のコマーシャルで見ることができます。岡山県西部にある放送局です。

松下寿のVX方式はGreat Time Machineとして米国ではモトローラ社から買収、取得した Quaserブランドでも専売商品として販売されていた程です。同じ松下ブランドでも Panasonic はRCAと共に（4倍速/EPモードを付けて）VHSを販売する為にVX方式が出せなかったとかなんとか。わたくしが松下の工場でフルロジックの KL-3 ビデオ共通基盤を作るラインに入るほんの数年前の話です…。
