Use Pokemon that evolve when traded in their pre-evolved forms, such as Haunter, Machoke, Kadabra, and Graveler. A team in honor of all of us who could never get an Alakazam or a Scizor in the first couple gens of the game cause we had no friends to trade with!

Honestly the only problem I have with this team is the lack of bisharp, I would replace lucario tbh.
Aggron is my.favorite Steel-Type, mostly due to a combination of nostalgia and the fact that he sounds like a train in his cry. 6 year old me loved trains, so Ron has been a constant companion.
My favorite troll strat for Aggron is called "Vibe Check" where I swap in, take a hit, metal burst and swap out.

Giving your Pokemon those moves:

• Rage Powder
• Poison Powder
• Sleep Powder
• Spore
• Cotton Spore
• Stun Spore
• And feel free to give Bright Powder to one of Pokemon if you feel like it!
Let's just hope the opponent doesn't have any Safety Goggles :p
And I'm aware that Powder Snow isn't technically part of the powder/spore moves when it comes to the way it works (I don't think that Safety Goggles prevent it), but it still has the word in its name so I'm including it as an option!

I think an Empoleon could really cover your ground and fire weaknesses. I've found in my own steel team that Scizor and Skarmory both tend to underperform and you could often settle for one or the other. I have Aegislash in my main steel team though so that kind of throws off how you'd build your team. I also run a Trickroom Bronzong lead, Rain Dance Empoleon, and a mega Aggron with Thunder and two or three mons with Gyroball. It is a super fun build for a theme team 😅

My favorite is Aron, it's definitely my mascot pokemon I thought steelix was the coolest when I was young because it was the biggest, the aegislash line is probably my favorite lately such a cool design.

Neotono I know there are other abilities that can do the job, like Comatose, or ones that can turn status effects into positive effects, like Poison Heal, but I wanted to just use the six abilities that have no other effect than to completely nullify a specific status with no other benefits.

Steelix is a very good Steel-Pokémon in the Sandstorm. The Defense is very high. Mega-Steelix has a good Ability because Sandforce give Rock, Ground, Steel-Attacks more Damage and Gyro Ball is good for the slow Steelix. And Steelix can learn Curse.

A Steelix with Curse and brave or sassy Nature are dangerous in a Trick Room.
Steelix tried to hard to be a walk but it can't because of its lack of recovery, garbage spd, not the best typing, no utility besides stealth rocks

Which Ability did you run on Lucario? The first battle could have been a sweep, if it had Justified, because if you swapped it into the Shiftry, it would have gained one boost for every time it gets hit by beat up (+6)

My favorite Steel type is Steelix. Ever since I saw it in Gen 2 (plus how Brock's Steelix is a beast in the anime), I've always loved Steelixx.
