Most music is collaborative. Even David Bowie used teams of session musicians to write music and collaborated with John Lennon and Queen. It's only gross when some pop singer takes sole credit for his/her music even though there's like 10 people who got song writing credits on all their songs.
I've been a fan of Dua Lipa since her 2017 debut studio album, and I love watching her growth and evolution. As an independent artist/singer/songwriter, this is really inspiring to see. I also loved when she talked about her confidence now vs. before when taking more of a lead in the songwriting process. It's so relatable, and I hope that I can grow in that way too. Can't wait to listen to the new album!
