Continuing student enrollment has declined. Not new student enrollment. It’s important to make that distinction because there is a difference. Additionally, the UNC System assigned several targets for WSSU to hit in the new funding model, including one the University chose. WSSU did not meet any of those targets. Therefore they received less funding because they did not meet their requirements. Again, new student enrollment was not one of those requirements, but that target was reached.

I thought WSSU had a chancellor's house on campus like ECSU originally? They are eliminating jobs, but then they purchase this 1.3 million house.

The house was bought by the WSSU Foundation, not WSSU. There's a difference.
