If you wish to join IIMs and it's your sole purpose now then you can take either full drop or partial drop (join some college in your city and then prepare for IPMAT)
Official communication language is English but friends don't talk in English. Talking about presentation, it's mandatory to give a presentation at the end of every course in every term, so towards the ending of the term we have 5-7 presentations lined up. Hope my reply helped 👑👑👑
