Hi Oggie. Excellent build from my top three Batman film. My brother and I have now watched the film 7 times. Great idea for a diorama and awesome painting of Pattinson. That was the cherry on top as it added color and dimension to the display. Take care, Alfonso.
Another awesome build Oggie!! It kind of looks like a 70s AMC thats been modded into the Batmobile!! Evergreen plastics make Diamond plate sheets too in O scale, HO and Nscale, I have a Hobbytown near me in Central Indiana where I get anything for model Railroading but all of it works in different areas of modeling!!!
Great build Oggie! I needed this video when I built mine. In my eagerness to get this kit when it came out , I didn't notice that it was 1/35th. Once I built it saw that it was smaller than all the others " unbuilt " Batmobiles , it was a " DUH "moment! 🙄🙄 when I realized the scale. That will teach me not to read all the info. It was an enjoyable build specially the engine. I used the Vallejo Metal colors for the engine and Revell Acrylic Anthracite for the body. Hope you have a great week. Take care, Tony
Awesome job! I LOVE that you incorporated your painting into this, it's always nice to combine two separate hobbies. Beautifully done. I'm hoping to see a Moebius 1 : 25 version soon!
Inspiring stuff, great job 👍 Even when I'm not feeling well, after I watch one of your build videos I feel the need to get back on with one of my projects.
Thanks Paul. I enjoyed the film although I have a couple of friends who thought it moved along too slow. I'd be curious to hear what you think. Either way, this was a very fun project to work on.
Love it, beautiful work! Just started my build. Still exploring and working up the light n wiring placement for headlights, tailights, under hood orange lights and blue light from rear of engine. Thinking a very small plume of cotton at that light will also be cool! I may make n post my 1st video 😃
Hi Jean...thanks....for the washes yes. Kinda depends on what I'm applying it to but in this case I generously did so because of the textured surface I was trying to detail. For the vallejo wash I used a second brush to wipe up the excess. The Mig Ammo is a bit different. You basically allow it to dry a bit then use their odorless thinner to wipe up or remove as desired. My goal is to leave more in the corners, nooks and crannies as this is how dirt and grime would accumulate in real life. Thanks for watching and I appreciate the compliment

Very nice build Oggie, question; after you apply the wash, do you wipe off the excess or just let it dry?...thanks for sharing and stay safe!

I built this model some time back and remember having trouble with the tail lights. Did you have difficulty pushing in those tail lights?
A little but eventually got them in and added a tiny amount of cement for good measure
Have you ever used the Rub 'n Buff metallic wax to get the highlights, such as the console?
No but wiling to try it next time. Have you used it?
Amazing work! Did you post the Thingiverse links? If so, I missed them.
Thanks......I have misplaced the links. I thought I had them saved but will find them this weekend.
I think the rubber was put on over the tires incorrectly
I'll have to check on that
Hey can you make me the same diorama display for my spin master the Batman movie rc Batmobile 1/15 scale tell me how much will it cost me.
