You guys must see some vinfast accident in vietnam, the car seems very solid against others car. Recently a VF3 crashed into a toyota veloz, while only the front bumper was broken, the Toyota veloz's door was completely crushed even though it was hit by a tiny car. Also i hope vinfast can create a front trunk, it look so empty in there!
@@KyleLiongCars thanks Kyle for the info. Just 2 more questions if its ok with you. 😊 Would you know, if regenerative braking is a standard feature of the VF3? And since the VF3 is rear motor driven, would you know if a staggered set up be a modification that would not void the warranty of the car? Thanks again. 😆
Maybe an odd question, but are SUV's popular as city-cars where you're from? Where I'm from it's usually people who commute longer distances, or live in rural areas, who have SUV's. So it surprised me a bit when you described it as a perfect car for quick city trips. They have more clearance when there's a lot of snow etc. In cities they are less popular since they take up so much space. Not criticizing you in the slightest, just got me curious!
1) It's smaller than a subcompact hatch, and 2) Southeast Asian roads are full of potholes and prone to flooding, so high ground clearance is a must 3) It's not a full SUV, it's a subcompact crossover
coz most people here in philippines want to show off by buying a bigger car than what they need, instead of buying something practical like a honda jazz/fit. so they end up getting a 4x2 truck-based "SUV" that can't go offroad and will never do any towing coz these people don't have any dirt bikes to tow i.e. these "SUVs" end up as mall crawlers, they spew nasty diesel fumes inside these enclosed mall parking buildings. philippine spec diesels aren't required to have DPF diesel particulate filters.
I’m not. I’m a Jetour Ice Cream owner (i’m their first customer; paid in full), and I’ve loved that car for 1 year and 5 months already. And I also placed a reservation for the VinFast VF3. So, no, I’m not crying. I’m excited to have both.
Do the reliability issues of Vinfast in the US also apply to their local releases here? Or should we not look at those as the US market is simply more "sophisticated and more picky" than our local market? This is a legit question, not rhetorical nor sarcastic. Kasi I've read articles stating that a certain Vinfast vehicle was allegedly the worst car to buy in their side of the world. I've also seen videos (from Donut specifically) wherein that certain Vinfast vehicle was uninspiring and unbelievably unreliable, to the extent of even being annoying to use. Though possible na problematic lang talaga yung releases ng Vinfast dun sa kanila, which then further begs an answer to my first question.

bili ka na lang ng with battery 745k. Yung mahirap lang dito is yung aftersales service at walang charging stations kung sa labas ka ng city. This is really good for city driving as a secondary car.

Kyle, in terms of spaciousness of the second row, how would you compare the VF3 to that of thw Wigo or the Spresso?
The Wigo would be more spacious

Between the VF3 and the BYD Seagull, which one would you pick?
for durability and features seagull but for design and other things VF3
Vinfast due to ground clearance
@@GeorgeCapistrano if not for that 120mm, Seagull would have ran away with it.
Really depends on what you need. The Seagull is so much bigger in terms of space and equipment
The seagull's ground clearance is abysmal, goodluck driving that car in metro manila during a storm

Where is the wiper switch?
