i am nay a scot...but many near and true are. I am a German-Gypsy. I was in the army and still got me Kilt...all God to Scotland and her Sons and Daughters!!!
I wanna play this at 1600 Pennsylvania. Rent a van with a huge sound system, with a huge bullhorn. Just drive around the perimeter of the White House fence while the tourists are around. A few laps ought to do it.
my wee boys doing Scottish songs for his school assembly so here we are… but wee granny Gordon used to sing this to me when I was a wain! Awww the nostalgia I miss her dearly 😢❤
When my friends little one, Dylan, was wee he would go about the house in his underpants. I used to sing this to him subsisting Dylan for Donald. I didn't know all the words so I would tum-ti-tum on the parts I didn't. His mum told me one day she heard him singing, "Tum-ti-tum, Dyaln where's trousers".
I'm reminded of an old joke. There was a Scottish festival. Many men wearing kilts. An American woman asked a burly Scotsman: I'm curious. What do you wear underneath the kilt? With a wee grin he replies: I'm a mon of few words; gimme yer hand.
Donald where's your troosers let the wind blow high let the wind blow low through the streets in my kilt I'll go all the lassies say hello Danold where's your troosers
The Irish Rover's that's a new one! This sounds more Scottish than Andy Stewart i like it's a good version actually, more modern sound n using lassies instead of ladies is always the way my old man sung it brjgs5back gd memories lol but was it no " I've just come doon fae the isle of sky"? Ni the Irish sky?
If I'm not mistaken Scotland draws it's name from the Irish raiders that landed and settled on the western coast of Scotland. Their not the same today, but both could most likely trace their origins back to roughly the same place.
I'm sorry to watch other videos were they said tousers not troosers. Now if ur gonna git a silly song stuck in innocint little Scotish girls every were ( and american and canadian and irish and well everyone) u MUST sing it correct annd say troosers!
