Mangrove snapper eat better all day every day better than a trout, or anything we have in north Florida. Trout are an after thought for me. But I must say, im from key west, lol so maybe it's just what I'm used to. We get speckled trout in the winter usually only down there, but mangroves are a top tier fish good eating fighting, and plentiful. But like I said I'd take a mangrove or "gray" snapper as we call them- any day over a trout! Great video!!!

Many fishermen attended the meeting with their objections falling on deaf ears the State representatives minds being made up already. Less than 6 months later a very noticeable difference where we were culling keepers prior

I’ll stick to 24” works great on your float rig👍 I’ve been bottom fishing since winter, but going back to the float now! Been a little too hot for me to fish other than a few hours in the mornings! Thanks.

We had a bad freeze fish kill here on the mid Texas coast last February. I haven’t caught or seen a Mangrove Snapper since.
Thats the only way we get a thinning of the herd here also. But not since 2004-05.
Mangrove best that any trout any day!

no not 4-5 foot, maybe 30 inches.
