For those who complete Touge version in this game, I salute you. As veteran in this game, drifting here makes you throwing controller many times. Not to mention some cars have bad handling.
As another fellow vet, I have completed the Touge version in this game. It’s easy on the first one (first two or three if you know what you’re doing) but the last one Suicide Mountain is tbh, very difficult in of itself, however I have completed it with some trouble, not a lot to make me angry, but enough to actually make me think on how I should proceed with the drifts. The one part of Suicide Mountain that did make me rage however when I was younger and still gets me stressed when I play it to this day is the grip battle for Suicide Mountain. I have raged on it countless times, but I eventually figured out how to do it properly and was able to successfully defeat it. If you want a car with raw power and torque for a drift car, I would recommend the ‘67 Mustang Fastback for people who still play the game on either PSP or PS2. I still to this day play it on PS2 and one thing I can say about it is that it does have online for those who can play online for PS2. Never played it myself since mine can’t play online, but I wanted to mention that as a side note. Overall, a solid choice for its time, could’ve improved on a couple of things but overall solid
Also have you tried drifting in circles before? Sure it may technically be cheating in a way, but you’re technically guaranteed a win if you go at it long enough 🤷🏻♂️
@@AFellowDoktuh same with me, I had major difficulty trying to heat masako in her blue Impreza after I figured out the physics I enjoyed the rest of the game. I always used the Silvia to race against Hiro, the guy with the white Impreza
Even though the game was mediocre, but at least its better than crossroads and showdown. Really wished this game deserves better if it weren't for the Eutechnyx physics.
In my opinion this is the best game I’ve ever played not a troll comment I played all the nfs all the grand turismos grid the list goes on multiplayer maps cars handling everything just like the homelander meme perfect even the smallest details
I have the PSP version of the game and I can confirm, this was very fun playing and 100% completing, however I have a question, do both versions of the game (PS2 and PSP) have cheat codes or something? I honestly don't really know since I never really searched about it
I would rent this game from blockbuster and then spend all my time dodging traffic on the highway and customizing cars instead of doing any of the actual races

ah yes, I remember this game. Was a lot of fun racing on the highway. Drifting physics however are questionable...

I remember driving a Honda NSX instead of a Supra at the beginning of the game.
maybe that was in the US version or maybe there was a later version of the game were they change the car i remember the NSX too
and I remember driving this supra but im seeing the nsx everywhere on youtube

Not really.. I never had any issues with driving in this game.
Back then it was a blast I played it in 2009/2010 but the drift racing part were kind of strange

@@Zammy_77 I used the Evo VI to go against the Imprezas. Used either the NSX or RX7 FD most of the time, RX7 for drifting NSX for Wangan battles.
I loved this game.

Honestly if they fixed the driving model during the drift events and slightly tweaked the highway physics, this game might actually be good.

Drifting is about skill and gaining points. Use rear wheel drive(FR) car. Upgrade to drift tire.
