Just found your video. Great Project. I can't wait to try this. I also live in Jacksonville, moved here 19 years ago from "up north". Still haven't adjusted to the heat. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching Justine. Glad you found me! Hope you find inspiration from my videos once you "binge watch" lol Have fun and let me know if you have questions. Happy crafting!
Michelle, these were made for a Halloween Wedding and they were placed in a Candelabra type of candle holder. The way the glue sticks were dripped on to the candles held the lights inside the paper towel holders with no problems. You had to turn each candle on individually but is was beautiful. Sorry I don't have them to show. It was for a friends wedding and she lives 1600 miles from me. Sorry I can't be of more help. Good luck with your candles. tfw Hugs and Blessings, Carol
After watching your video I made some and they look fab, can I just ask you about the paint, I used white acrylic paint and it doesnt seem to cover the glue as well as your paint after 2 coats, should I be using a different type of paint?? Thank you, new subbie from UK
So sorry for not answering sooner. The w white acrylic paint should cover the glue in two coats. Be sure to shake your paint up in the bottle because it separates and won't cover well.
I like the way you make it look old and worn... very skillful! 👏🏼
I love those antique look candles. Hope to see more of your Halloween candles soon. So unique & so real! Great job :)
Stayed tune. I will have a new project with these candles soon. I have lots of new projects to video. Thanks for watching and happy crafting.

Those are so cool!
these are lovely think i will do these for my bathroom x
These are cute, but i would do a paper mache clay around the rolls to help with stability. Just my thoughts.

I have a question is the rag you wipe with is it wet or dry?
Jolene-it would be a dry rag.
Thank you.
Can you use spray paint? I am a very lazy person
I don't see any reason why you couldn't. Enjoy making your Candles. Hugs and Blessings, Carol
Carol, genius
These are a lot of work but the results are so awesome. tfw Hugs, Carol
