I appreciate anyone that can do crafty stuff as I’m hopeless myself but love watching... it’s easier for me to buy the nice things people make! My current black elastic strap (bought December) has stretched quite badly and that’s a genuine product.. poop’d in less than 2 months!
I tried this method with the Omecky connectors. The screwdriver stripped right away. So I just put the watchband elastic through the connector without unscrewing it, put my zipper foot on my sewing machine and sewed the band down. WALA!! Much easier for these older eyes, lol.
Thank you for this. I sew and quilt and have a tiny wrist. I hate when my watch is on the underside of my wrist because my bands are an inch too big. I am doing this.
Jan this is a cool idea for some of my regular watches I don't wear an Apple watch. You are so crafty and fun to watch I agree with the person below you need to have an Etsy store. 🤗🐞😍

Can it be sewn by hand? I don't have a sewing machine. I have a Fitbit. I'm autistic and can't handle certain materials. The silicone band really bugs me and so do most store bought bands. I'm looking to maybe make a few different bands with soft fabric.

Just sew without removing the screw. Works faster to just wrap and sew.
