A few years ago I was working at night in the UK 🇬🇧 and I was listening to a programme on BBC Africa then during that programme they played a song called "Janet by the witch", its a zambian song and the radio broadcaster said it was a hit song in the 1970s 😅 i was quite shocked. I now understand, the songs lack our zambian sound.
Amayachi thanks for recognizing Chesters sound cause I always tell my fellow Zambians to sample his sound and make it more super. And chester is dangerous that guy is good with his craft 🙏🙏🙏
I don’t think you understand what he was saying ; when amapiano comes on you know it’s distinctive to SA , when house come on you know the type of House from SA and European sounds . Zambians artist need to Embrace their sound more which is mostly the kalidula guitor vibe and drums , like the new chef 187 360 is an example of pure distinction and the Chester sound he talked about it should Have been improved on that
ama yachi knows the market well.....if u think sound is not a barrier try to use shazam for song it wil bring u a soundfrom somwer.....they are getting skeletons beats from other country and stealin ther is serious......lets go ama yachi ..
mixing music is more than just understanding the genre of the song, it's more about understanding how sound frequencies work and having the right equipment for it. The pros from abroad are "sound engineers", that is why they sound better than our local producers
By far Mumba understands music better ❤❤❤❤❤
