I'm the same. I'm finding lately that I do better (more creative, more impactful) writing when I write by hand, too. For instance, I've been writing my weekly email newsletter (on strategy) by hand as a first draft and it's made a significant difference in the quality of my content. And yeah, I love that pen. :)
thanks for making this! i also am an analog thinker and it's been hard to find ideas for zettelkasten keeping that isn't based on obsidan or other digital tools.
As always, inspiring. I may now have to rethink my digital notetaking lifestyle after you described your pens with the technical precision of an arms dealer presenting John Wick with his next weapon of choice before his next showdown with the underworld bosses.
Haha! First time I've been compared to an arms dealer ... love it. Glad you liked the vid, Saleem. I have to tell you, analog has been such a net positive for me. I realize not everyone will agree, but you should check it out.

Hi! Good video! But lastly the reference system for your notes is the most important thing about a Zettelkasten, no? I would like to see a video about that most!
For years I lived by a 8.5"x11" daytimer, and then a 8.5"x11" notebook by my desk phone but I need somehting more portable so I will try one of these. Thanks.
Haha! Yeah, I'm insane, all right. ;) Seriously, though, I have tried it both ways and find that I remember more (read: comprehend more) when I work with physical artifacts like printed books, paper, pen or pencil. I assume that has something to do was a lesser degree of abstraction as well as a spatial aspect to the content. E.g., "I think that quote is toward the back of the book." Regardless, glad to have you on board! Thanks for the fun comment and for joining my newsletter, Broadside.
Hi there, Bhavesh. That's such a tough one to to answer. Like colleges in which country? There are so many pathways in to a great career in marketing and honestly, you don't even need a degree. Can I ask, what problem are you trying to solve? I know you've already got an agency going. Is there something more specific I can address?
Hi Mike! Great video! I really enjoyed it. I've watched it more than once. ;) I've been wanted to comment for a while, but I never finished the comment for one reason or another, hahaha. There's been one topic I've been thinking about lately and I think it would be a good topic for a video. This topic is daily notes. There's a great deal of content about *digital* daily notes, but I really like your analogue approach to these issues. :) So, it would be great if you talked about it on one of your next videos. Especially now that the end of the year is approaching and that's an opportunity to start the next year with a good method and setup for daily notes. Hope you are great, José Miguel
Thanks, José! And, that’s a great idea for a video. I’ll add it to the list. There are so many videos I want to make and yet I struggle to get time to do them. Regardless, thank you for your encouragement and kind words. 🙏🏼
well I watched your video even though I am a convert to digital note taking. Nonetheless, I enjoyed the video, your EDC recommendations and admired the beard. Liked, subbed, and signed up. Cheers.
I am! It's just funny because I never say that explicitly. And, really, I am a fan of old school and goofy stuff. Like today's trap does nothing for me. But KRS-One, MF Doom, or Deltron 3000? Let's go!

Leuchtturm is pronounced "loisht-toorm", and the Z in Zettelkasten is pronounced "tss".
That makes sense. You know Yanks can't pronounce anything right other than "baseball" and "McDonald's". ;)

I can judge the high quality by number of views vs time for thie video.
