These delicious Cheesy Vegetable Half Moons, is a perfect savoury starter that is crumbed and fried, and is served at any occasion. The tasty combination of cheese, veggies and freshly cut greens, makes this an absolutely indulgent snack.
Cheesy Vegetable Half Moons are easy to prepare, and simply oozes with goodness. It is a mouth watering recipe that will surely impress your family and guests! It will definitely be your new favourite snack, and Cheesy Vegetable Half Moons can be easily stored away in the freezer and fried at anytime!
CHEESY VEGETABLE HALF MOON SAVOURY
Filling:-
3 cups Mixed Vegetable (Frozen mix)
2 tsp salt
1 tsp Black pepper, crushed
1 tbsp Butter
1 small Onion, finely chopped
1 cup Dhania, finely chopped
1 cup Spring Onion, finely chopped
2 Green Chillies, finely chopped
1 tsp Mixed Herbs/Italian Herbs
1 tsp Black pepper, crushed
1 & 1/2 cup Grated Gouda or Cheddar cheese
1 & 1/2 cup Grated Mozzarella cheese
Moon Dough:-
2 cups Hot Water
2 tbsp Butter
2 tsp Salt
2 cups Cake flour
Coating:-
2 Eggs
2 tbsp Milk
2 cups Breadcrumbs or Panko Breadcrumbs
Oil for Frying

What substitutes do you recommend instead of egg for the coating?
And how many do you get in this recipe?
Thank you for watching Devi! 😘 You will get 22-24 depending on the size of your cutter. To substitute the eggs, make a thin slurry by combining All Purpose Flour with water, or simply dip the moons in milk before coating with breadcrumbs.
