i mean, it's possible. like in Fontaine, or Hydro traveler can also use Pneuma element like Fontaine characters. so it's likely to happen that traveler can get a nightsoul state. Hence, might be able to use the new Natlan Artifacts.

Then there's the question of how viable will the other 4-star Natlan characters be and will the 5-star characters work with her. Mualani and Kinich won't work if you slot all three of them together and Kachina is kind of awkward that contributes little to the team. Ororon doesn't work that well with Kinich team due to Kinich wanting Burning or Burgeon. Xilonen works fantastic but Chasca doesn't want Xilonen so you can have one or the other unless you don't care about having Chasca at full potential. So... yea, hopefully the upcoming characters synergize with Mavuika.
Technically you could still use her, we get Kachina free, and pyro traveller... It just depends on the requirements. Also if they give a free Natlan 4 star in an event... But I agree, hopefully her passives make the requirements less, otherwise hoyo is shooting themselves in the foot and making the least flexible Archon ever

As I said in the previous video, this is what happened with the current ZZZ patch again, Miyabi, which would be the first unit equivalent to an archon, had her drip market delayed a couple of days so people would pull for Yanagi, probably because the marketing or product team knew very well that people would not pull and save instead to guarantee getting the unit. I feel for that myself, currently in ZZZ I pull if the unit fits my roster and I was missing an electric DPS, but if I knew Miyabi was coming, I would have skipped.
My only guess is that this is an effort to make those who haven’t pulled any Natlan characters pull for Citlali or some other Natlan character coming up. However, when compared to the far more versatile kits of previous archons, it seems to be quite a disappointment (I don’t have any Natlan characters except Kachina). Obviously, I want to pull for mavuika, but if she’s bad without Natlan character, I probably won’t bother.

I hope Pyro Archon has a passive that makes bursts also gain a stack. Otherwise the mechanic will hurt her sales and it will make her a very strict character and Archon to use. We will have Pyro traveller and kachina for free, so unless the Pyro Archon can gain her own stacks or if it is still possible with only 2 Natlan characters, they're basically limiting the pyro Archon's availability... I mean, her burst mechanic doesn't sound too bad. Remember what happened with furina guys? Furina happened to work with either fontaine characters or heal based characters to utilize her full potential. (Most notably, her fanfare stacks.) But yet, she is the top 5 picked character among the entire game. So maybe mavuika won't be a total disaster for non natlan characters.

If Mavuika will have that kind of Mechanic for her burst it will probably make it somewhat difficult for her to be a main dps to anyone who wants to main her. Since the only way to apparently get her burst up is by stacking nightsoul points you need natlan characters in the team and so far the only kind of support characters we have from natlan would be Xylonen, Kachina, Ororon somewhat? And Citlali. But hey maybe her burst wont be as effective as her hold Elemental skill will be
My honest opinion is that Lanyan,or that’s what they call her might be madam ping.With the players saying she would be released in the lantern rite,and she is a liyue character,also consider the lantern rite is in 5.3,it’s save to say she might be madame ping.But it might be a completely different character too,considering there are many charecters from liyue,some got released a few patches later or a few versions later,like xianyun,who came out in version 4.4.So,it safe to say that my hypothesis might be right.
Very disappointing for mavuika to need other natlan characters considering that almost all archons work well with other characters not from their region ( also because I skipped everyone except xilonen just to get her r1 + cons)

I mean, her burst mechanic doesn't sound too bad. Remember what happened with furina guys? Furina happened to work with either fontaine characters or heal based characters to utilize her full potential. (Most notably, her fanfare stacks.) But yet, she is the top 5 picked character among the entire game. So maybe mavuika won't be a total disaster for non natlan characters.

If Mavuika will have that kind of Mechanic for her burst it will probably make it somewhat difficult for her to be a main dps to anyone who wants to main her. Since the only way to apparently get her burst up is by stacking nightsoul points you need natlan characters in the team and so far the only kind of support characters we have from natlan would be Xylonen, Kachina, Ororon somewhat? And Citlali. But hey maybe her burst wont be as effective as her hold Elemental skill will be

My honest opinion is that Lanyan,or that’s what they call her might be madam ping.With the players saying she would be released in the lantern rite,and she is a liyue character,also consider the lantern rite is in 5.3,it’s save to say she might be madame ping.But it might be a completely different character too,considering there are many charecters from liyue,some got released a few patches later or a few versions later,like xianyun,who came out in version 4.4.So,it safe to say that my hypothesis might be right.
