Great vid. Rc drifting has gotta be one of the most addicting side of the hobby, the scale looks, the skill involved and such a great community of guys wanting to help you get your car dialled and have you drifting door to door with them. Awesome looking bodyshell. Keep the drift content coming.👍
Looks good! Nice to see some drift content here as well. I recently got into it too but I went 1/28 with a Drift Art Da3s and a mini z body. Learning all the same things about setup and techniques but only drifting at home on 5'x10' vinyl track in my living room. It's alot of fun once you get past that initial hurdle.
RC drifting needs to evolve to arrma felony sized rwd with rubber tires that actually smoke like real drift cars. It would be faster, and harder to control, and more expensive replacing tires, but it would be a whole new level of awesome lol
@RcGarageGarage I drift on dirt with a UDR because I love the massive cloud it throws lol. Faster too. I use to have a little rc18 drift car for my garage. It was fun but it's never going to draw a crowd like a larger scale tire smoking drift event could
@@TheAmericanUhate Drifting ain’t about speed. It’s about showing style and your own skills on how to control your car while performing a drift. Try going to those drift events and see if I’m wrong. I’m sure it’ll change your mind soon
Excited your getting into drifting. I find the crawler market/scene a bit oversaturated. Its nice to learn about something else especially from someone just getting into it. We don't have a local scene in my area (that I know of) but I always wanted to get into it. I certainly love detailing JDM or Japanese on road cars. I initially got into touring cars with an HPI RS4 2. Way way back now. These drift cars have such a nice attention to detail and scale looks. The bodies and accessories have gotten so much nicer in recent years because of the drift scene.
insanely pretty car, im not drifter.. hell don't even have a good rc car but eventually would love to have something quality like that and take care of it.. no bash :) congrats
Be ready to watch those crawlers gather dust as you accumulate and acquire more & more drift chassis all filled with hard to find hop ups of an ever increasing expense. The RC drift Rabbit Hole is so deep. I started RC with crawling. I was actually subscribed to you when you only had about 1000 subs. Right when the Gen 8 came out I think 🤔 I got my first drifter shortly after that and never looked back. I still have crawlers but I don't use them 3x a week like I do my drift chassis. Anyway haha Don't say I didn't warn you 😉
Unfortunately for me im pretty much done building my yd2. Havent got to use it yet because i was waiting on a battery and to connect my remote. all i need now is that charging cable cuz my battery didn't come with one. But got lots of info on electronics to replace anything if i dont like the stuff i chose i will be looking into your suggestions.
Francis can the gyro on the receiver, be enough, combine with the radio...instead of using the gyro that most of these cars use ? You killed it with this body, absolutely beautiful...looks like the older version of the RDS body 😂
i am fairly new to rc it blows my mind that a servo is 127.00 usd or so but may be i am a cheapo .love to guts of said pricey units .i would like to have a fast servo for my 1/10 - 1/8 size short course truck ..but yea
@@RCReviewChannel Can't believe she sold it to buy a Holden Commodore station wagon 'family' car 🤦♂️😂 They weren't worth much back then. There are three positions for the motor and this is the highest. This position is for tracks that are very slick with minimal traction. The high motor position allows the car to transfer weight and break the rear of the car loose. With more traction, the lower motor positions are used.
Stoked to see some drifting on this channel. It's so rewarding with upgrades and tuning. Are we gonna see any other rtrs on the channel or maybe some chassis conversions?? 😉😉 lol

door to door is the goal!!!
Nice seeing my teammates on this video! Team Bushido!
I’m glad we just got a local track so it’s time
I just picked up the Datsun 510 Wagon Widebody, looking forward to painting it and seeing it on my Vehicle!
That weathered look is very classy and subtle. Exterior paint should hold up great on a drift car, no pointy rocks to contend with!
Yeah. I has a good base too that will tell a story when scratched.

No it doesn’t lol
@@wolfenher6937 100% it does. They're too slow with the current plastic tires 😒

i just started drifting and you look as excited as i am thanks for the videos! chris

Turned out well.
now I need to get this
Yah.... You should be picking drift bodies for redcat. I'd take that 240 In 'British racing green' please.
Oh this is so SIIIIICK!
Thumbs up for Shelldons and Bushido clips🤟🤟
I'm looking forward to the kyosho 240z rtr
Yeah, that one is a looker.
Working lights,and blinkers are next..
I can see it..
Absolutely! And that firing exhaust light.

So true. And but can go up from there
Do you have a video how to do this. I also want use a different body from other 1/10 scale
What other bodies fit?
was thinking one of these to turn into a drag car
nice
I got a Yokomo basic drift 4wd kit. I got a Tamiya Z body for it. I also have a Novak brushless drift system too. Thoughts?
Get a 2wd for drifting, that's a power slider and gives a drive like the infraction.
My mother owned a beautiful Datsun 260Z British racing Green with cream interior. I should have bought it from her
Wow, what an opportunity. They've become way more valuable now!

Rrrrright?
How can you say a $12 part is expensive when you spent so much on that car.
$12 for a piece of wire is expensive for what it is. Especially since that $2 part is normally included in other rc components.
