I know Tom Penny still alive! and I’ve met and skate with him. I lived in the UK and socal. Yuto embodies the effortless styles of Tom in the modern era. In the early 90s Tom would go big, vert, banks rails and do tricks switch and regular with the ease.
Who is that dude who lost his hat? I don't remember his name? I think he should have gotten 2nd place imo. That was insane how he was able to pull those off and land those tricks in his run
It's annoying at this point that all yuto does is 360 grinds. They're not that special. When he first started doing them in competition, yes they were cool. It is time for him to expand his imagination and learn some new tricks. I am not hating. I obviously know how hard those tricks are, But who to spend the next 10 years watching skateboarding competitions where all he does is 360 grinds and gets in the nine club with it? Innovation is what is going to keep skateboarding alive......not Complacency because you mastered a trick and you do it every competition because you know the judges are stupid and going to put it in the nine club. At this point the nine club means nothing.
Yuto is AMAZING!!!
Thanks for the updates

Skateboarding in either of those shoes should be a crime . Nike doesn’t belong in skateboarding
He is without a sponsor rn
@@nickytheyahoo_ Most stylish shoes, blame the scalpers for making them so expensive. They are the most comfortable and durable too.
@@Takaroku. I wouldn’t wear them if they were free.
