promoting safety makes him a legend in and of itself. Nothing cooler than hitting the trick and not winding up in a coma if you don't, but go ahead Nike, you do you, hurt the world while claiming you're doing the opposite, yall are THE BELIEVER
Andy always shows what Skateboarding should be all about: Having fun and giving a fxck on what others think about your tricks. As long as you're enjoying it you are right
Possibly the most creative skateboarder, within a sport that prides itself on originality and self-expression, that will never get a win because of his style of skateboarding. Fucking piss take.
@@Chillehhhh I guarantee Andy could come much closer to replicating every other run than any other skater there could get to replicating his. Tell me, how do you measure skateboarding ability then?
@Cameldactyl To be fair, Yuto is just different. He's doing tricks that won't be the standard for another couple years so I'll give you that one. Still calling bullshit on the other 11 or so people that placed above him for reasons I already stated.
there is something u can't explain about the flow a skater can have, Andy Anderson has'nt what Yuto Horigome has (one of the flowest skateboarder ever for me). Relaxation and confidence of the landing is all about in my opinion
My favourite skater. Love the helmet too when I skate anything new or hard I try to use my knee pads and helmet atleast at the beginning. Making it cool to be safe like Mullen gets the utmost respect 🤙🏽
FUUUUUCK AMPLITUDE. This is like watching Rodney Mullen in his prime. Dude can't get a fair score in these formats. Pretty happy he doesn't really need the win to keep going like some Shaun White type.
on variety alone, they need to start scoring other MFs at a 7 or less, give this man his trophy. Let him get one clean competition without the outside influences trying to send kids helmetless down 10sets. #EVILJUICE ps, im not even sure about my claims, but I bet if you looked into it, you would be surprised to learn I am correct.
That “slow comply” at 0:46… I invented it 37 years ago. He named it, but he got it from Street Survival. I’m soooooo stoked to see it in a contest run.
@@TIZFUNK It’s documented though… Street Survival was released in ‘88. We filmed it in ‘87 and ‘88. Andy said in his Nine Club interview that he watched it a bunch when he was young. Keep lying and accusing others of lying; that’s all you. You’ll either get over it or you won’t. Not my concern.
@@TIZFUNKbro someone has to event all those obscure tricks. Stuff like anti hospital, anti big spin, hang ten hard flip, lion flip etc were all done the first time by some randomer lol
For him not to make finals just shows that skateboarding is still judged as a popularity contest rather than judged by skills and talent. Bails or not, NO OTHER SKATER there could pull off his run but apparently that means nothing 🤦♂️
If he landed every single trick I would say it is very likely that he could have gone to the finals. I don't even know what flip trick he was going for gapping from the quarter pipe to the role in but that could have sealed the deal for him.
AA is the reason skateboarding still a thing here in Canada, our scene is all but pretty much dead. go to local skatepark no one can land anything and all you see bunch chimpanzee flinging poo at each other.
Andy will never fail to surprise me 🤩
Every generation of skaters has its legends Andy is gonna be one of those.

He is really good…he loves skateboarding…and embodies creative spirit.
ANDY DID YOU PLAN THAT, DID YOU PLAN THAT, DID YOU PLAN THAT, ANDY!!!!
My three favorite skaters: Rodney Mullen, Daewon Song, and Andy Anderson.
Most awesome footage, it's called 'the thinker' at the end there, Jake Ilyard covered it 😇🫒😋☮️
big fun ANDY!!!
The amazing Andy Anderson!

I mean you're comparing him to one of the best street skaters on the planet. He must be doing something right.
Any special move, mr Anderson?
Andy: "yes"
And he didn’t advanced to the finals isn’t acceptable. Dude is a blender of street, freestyle and vert

dark slides in a comp run, First try...did it twice...and you think you're good?
I feel like Andy was more creative and entertaining the 90% of the skaters. His Scores were an insult. Those judges are whack.
he's boring
Stop inviting this guy to competition🤦♂️
It's Tampa Pro dude.

your as whack as the judges.
