The one that was going to energylandia they decided they didn’t want it so six flags bought it and track popped up in six flags mexico and then now its officially going to cedar point as sirens curse. Edit: The only existing vekoma tilt coaster as of December 28 2024 is the old gen vekoma titl coaster in taiwan.
2:27 Yeah, the only operating Vekoma tilt is the old-gen one in Taiwan. Energylandia's was canceled, and the project was presumably sent to Six Flags Mexico, but after issues where the local government didn't want them taking down trees, the track was shipped over to Cedar Point where it was announced as Siren's Curse. COTAland is also getting one next year called Circuit Breaker, and Six Flags Qiddiya is getting a 200-foot tall one called Iron Rattler. All three of these should open next year, and all three are partially or fully built but not open yet. There are also 4 knockoff tilt coasters built by Golden Horse/Jinma, all located in China, and one of them is even dueling. 16:23 No, unfortunately the PC2 tilt coaster uses the old gen track. Look at the announcement video for Siren's Curse if you want to see the new gen track.
That's what I thought, but the concept for energylandia has a similar track. Maybe because it was before a rework? But yeah obviously modern verkomas are ingame. However it's the new gen kinda train?
@@RudiRennkamel Could you point me towards the concept art for energylandia's? I couldn't find it off a quick search. The PC2 trains look like the old gen to me. They have the cage in front, the guide wheels on the inside of the track, and the metal paneling on the outsides of the train, while the new gen trains have no front cage, guide wheels on the outside of the track, and fully painted sides.
@@RudiRennkamel Yo are confusing two projects. The tilt coaster for Energylandia would have had the modern track. But this is the one going to Cedar Point now. But there is also a Mine train Coaster in Energylandia which is actualkly open now and this uses a track that looks like the old Vekoma track pieces were. You just got them mixed up as there were pictures from Energylandia concepts with old style tracks as both coasters should have gone into the same area.
Aw man, that’s so cool! The concept is perfect too, especially considering that the tilt on Cedar Point’s upcoming Siren’s Curse is supposed to be based on a shipyard crane. Btw, the train and track models are definitely based on the old-school version on the tilt coaster (i.e. Gravity Max in Taiwan). No new-gens have been built yet, but I believe 3 are opening in 2025 - Circuit Breaker at COTAland, Siren’s Curse at Cedar Point, and Iron Rattler at Six Flags Qiddiya. Hopefully we get the corresponding update in the game.
Would be cool to have both indeed! I was so certain they were going for new gen, but you even see me being confused in the video haha. Some of the early concepts of the new gen also used the old track style which made me even more confused xD
The reason for the slow global illumination is probably the extreme amount of processing power needed for real time global illumination, love the series
Als nächstes dann das hafenland Münster xD (gibt ein großes Stück brachland im Münster Hafen und hab, seitdem ich dahin gezogen bin, immer gedacht so ein grönalund artiger Park dort wäre geil)
The reason the tilt coasters go so fast after the drop is that for some reason the tilt track is programmed to launch the train instead of it dropping. Unsure why it’s programmed that way, but it is
The crane looks really cool! Not really sure about the exploding container tho. It seems like it stays too long vertical before swinging back. And I don't think you need to open the sides of the container, that's not what containers do. But I love the idea! It was very convincing in the POV
Yeah as you can tell I got confused already in the video. Didn't pay attention to it till building it and I was just so certain they went for the new one. So obviously it's the old one. Kind confused why but hey whatever. A new gen isn't even build irl so maybe that's why
I don't really like the model they chose for the Tipper coaster. They should have incorporated into the Vekoma MK1101 model (sit down 4 seater) and given that ride longer trains
For some reason, Frontier has the drop track acting as a launch. That is super unrealistic. It needs to be a free fall when you drop, not a launch. I hope this gets fixed as I really want to make this type of coaster but right now it’s not realistic in the game.
Yeah you see me getting confused during the video already. I was so certain they went for the new gen. But ofc it's the old one, Weird they chose this one
Yeah you can tell from my confusion about the track that I wasn't certain. I just thought they went for the new one and did some changes. But apparently it's bases on the old one. Odd to me but okay

Ah okay so that's the one that I watched indeed.
Remembering your original map sketch to seeing this come to life is very inspiring Rudi!

Great video once again!
I don't know anything about coasters, so all i can say is "it looks good."
We are flat in The Netherlands.. but not anymore in Cup-Size or organised Crime XD
Hahahaha

Es gefällt mir sehr :)
I feel like you definitely need some trims on that drop, it's wayy too fast at the moment.
Yeah it would have more Gs irl. I need to tweak the pacing overall.

5:32 there is no friction slider in planco 2 no? Or did i miss this feature hidden somewhere?😮
Anyway, happy new year rudi
A ship harbor themed amusement park. What will they think of next?
I Still have ideas. Many. 😀
For inspiration on a new gen Vekoma check out: Circuit Breaker POV on Circuit of the Americas. It is sort of the same as Energylandia's
Yeah I wasn't sure. It's also concept right?
@@RudiRennkamel yes the pov is of the concept. It is being build right now, if I am not mistaken.
The tilt coaster in the Game is the old gen

the tilt coaster in game is the old gen not the new gen
Yeah you see me getting confused during the video already. I was so certain they went for the new gen. But ofc it's the old one, Weird they chose this one
🥰🥰
Is the actual Hamburg Harbor abandoned or is that lore for this series specifically?
No it's still one of the biggest harbors in the world. But there are abandoned areas IRL as well. However it's not based on any specific
@RudiRennkamel thanks, good to know. Excellent video btw
