The figure is fantastic, I can’t wait to get mine. People complaining about the weathering miss the point that Luke looked this clean when he first arrived to Bespin. This figure represents that, I’m sure Hot Toys will do another one focused on the duel between Luke and Vader and the outcome.

Incorrect. Luke's outfit was filthy when he arrived in Bespin and encountered Boba Fett. It was covered in grime and perspiration marks, giving the impression that it had started to discolour. The pocket/tassel on his upper-right arm looked to come loose too. Now granted, it wasn't the complete mess that we saw after his battering by Vader, but it was also some distance from the pristine state that this figure depicts it in.
As I missed out on the original, picking this up is a no-brainer. My all-time favourite Luke skywalker from my all-time favourite Star Wars film Empire Strikes Back.

As with Pennywise, the lack of weathering is a fairly significant detractor. I’m still getting it, but the fresh from the cleaners outfit is a little bit of a bummer. Great video-thank you for the sneak peak!

I love the retro-futuristic outfit. I dont think he looks a janitor, but more like the gasman who's come to read the meter.

Super awesome review! Alas since space is limited I can only have one of my favorite characters. I settled with mando Luke with the return of the jedi hair piece as my definitive luke because i like the outfit much better. Still this looks like a wonderful pickup to those who missed out!

Not a bad figure few gribes for me would be exposed wrist pegs kill the illusion they could have made the fabric a bit longer to avoid that. The clothes are to clean. Good review Dante

Dose this hand's lightsaber change the position?
If the hand holding the lightsaber is in the initial position, it is not possible to have both hands holding the lightsaber.
However, hand is connected lightsaber.

Great video Dante! Thanks for the unboxing and review. Interesting that it's USB-C since the description on the Sideshow listing mentions Micro USB. I wonder if USB-C is going to be the route they go with on the future USB powered lightsabers.

This figure is an absolute joke compared to the DX07 😆
2 full figures, the beautiful weather vane display, chopped off hand & tourniquet all for probably what is the same price now
I image they are planning on releasing a Battle damaged version too 🙄
The easiest thing to do is to take Snowspeeder Luke's head & replace it on the DX07. If he's wearing the helmet, the headsculpt won't be that noticeable

Such a disappointment.😞 The DX07 is way better than this new DX25 figure because it has 2 figures, a severed magnetic hand, a medical arm cast, and most importantly the weather vain, which is all missing from this new DX25 figure. Plus, they reused the head sculpt from the DX23 figure instead of sculpting a whole new one.

Maybe for you it is but for me it’s the perfect figure. It’s a great figure that represents Luke’s arrival to Bespin as well as its first encounter with Vader.
It recreates that, not what comes afterwards. I’m sure Hot Toys will do another one focused on the Lightsaber duel and it’s outcome.
@Peter A. Michaelsen I never said it was a bad figure. This is perfect for everyone who doesn't have the DX07 in their collection. I'm just saying it could've been better is all. And if they do make a whole other battle damaged Luke figure with a missing hand, Hot Toys will really be milkin it.
