Speaking, making mistakes, and being corrected definitely helps you to remember. I’ve been corrected many times and I promise you I no longer make those mistakes. 😆 It’s frustrating at times to keep making mistakes especially with the “basic” stuff, but it’s all apart of the learning process.
Thank you for sharing your journey, Derek! Since I spoke to you last I did have my first trial session with a couple of tutors today! Keep up the great work along your journey! :)
That's awesome Michelle! I think its really important to pick the "right" teacher and find someone you mesh well with so hope you found a good teacher you could connect with
When are you going to do another update? I’m interested in how your doing. I found your videos when I had like 5 hours DS. Now up to 70 hours. Just wondering if your still doing it or did you quit?
@@ThePhalcon2600 Im still doing it! I'm roughly around 250 hours now and I was planning to post a video this weekend of some crosstalk with my language partner from Mexico. Thanks for watching!
Hi I am intermediate level in learning spanish. It seems like as if i can not understand anything. Should I go back to watching beginner videos or keep watching intermediate.?
@@simmayu3279 In my experience, easier is always better. The more comprehensible the input, the more effective it will be. I do a mix of both beginner and intermediate videos. If I come across some videos that are too hard I will go back to easier ones for a while. Also, I downloaded a picture of the roadmap from the DS website and used posterburner.com to make it
@dereklearnsspanish ok thank you . Will do. I enjoy your videos too. I watched the first one. I just made it to intermediate about a week ago. I'm at 165 hours. Good luck on your spanish learning journey. Thanks for the tips.

This is off topic but ITALKI tutors can help with this as well.
