I’m really worried about Tian’s health later on in the show because he’s in a hot area and eats foods that he’s not supposed to eat. Later in it’s gonna effect him and his heart and nobody knows about his condition since he hasn’t told anyone. I’m scared how it’s gonna effect him later in the show.
I was thinking about that too like they keep hinting at it, that' not gonna be fun :/

My theory is.
1. Tian is not the one who hit torfun, the writer want us to speculate that tian did, but there will be a twist.
2. Torfun and phupha is not dating, cause the doctor said torfun is ready to become "daughter in law in this village" which hinted to the village chief son that was introduced in the conversation between tian and the chief. I think torfun does love phupha but she never said it, hence the 1000 star that she doesn't have the opportunity to finish counting.
(there must be a reason why phupha is in the city in the same hotel with tian in the first ep) this is not related to the 2nd point.
3. Phupha is gay, he isn't attracted to "torfun heart" in tian body, but tian himself.
Well I'll be waiting for all the plot twist to unfold.

1. Then is definitely not the one who hit Torfun. He got heart attack at the same time with Torfun getting hit by the car.
2. I think Phupha and Torfun love each other. For the village chief son, i think he might be the third hand in Phupha and Tien relationship.
3. I think Phupha is not gay from the beginning. When he met Tien he felt familiar with him, just like the village chief did. So, he would like to be close with Tien and finally he gradually love Tien.
This is my theory.

I definitely agree with your last point, Phupha is gay from before. He's not a dense person so he was probably aware of Torfun's feelings for him. He liked her but felt bad that he couldn't reciprocate her feelings because he liked guys. And now that Tian is here, a cute guy who is an upstanding person in his own way (Phupha doesn't even know half of how righteous he is) he likes him. Our chief's heart is fluttering.
I think Phupha was at the hotel because it might be related to his work. Remember that the nurse was gossiping about "high-ranking official's son" when talking about Tian, so it might be possible that his family got some connection to governmental officers related to forest rangers.
And yes, Earth can play Thai flute (Khlui) and he really play it in this EP.

It's nice that even if he had only been teaching for two days, he has already grown fond of the kids since they're the ones in the flashback ;u; It's like saying that he was teaching for the kids and to fulfill his own life rather than just continuing Torfun's life.
According to something I read, Phupha is supposedly gay and sees Torfun as a younger sister. I wonder if that is also how they’ll keep the story for the series as they keep on showing Earth and Aye together in what seems like a more than friends relationship. Although based on how Nammon keeps bringing up Mixx with Earth, and those smiles when he thinks about him, that may be possible that he is gay. I’m so excited to see the next episode!
Yeah according to novel PhuPha is gay and Torfun knows that but I don't think so They are going to stick with this because they had to change PhuPha character to Military Officer to Forest Ranger due to some political issue so that's why it's unlikely to happen but I would love if they stick with storyline because I hate this line I am not gay I only like you

This series reminds me of my college time when I had to do the public service in a rural area but not as extreme as pha pun dao, and also had to do some teaching practice in a school there. So I completely understand how Tian feels, yes teaching is not for everyone, it's a very hard thing to do, that's why I have so much respect for all of the teachers in general, they're amazing.
Pha pun dao has the same vibe as the village I went at that time, the school was literally on top of a mountain. I have lots of happy memories but also sad ones. The struggle and hardship of living in mountains are real. But the people are so sweet and kind it makes everything easier and memorable.
On field trips you must count the kids all the time. ALL THE TIME. And there was only five!

Like you mentioned, Tian /เธียร/ in Thai means a philosopher. On the other hand, the homophone of /tian/ as /เทียน/ means a candle. Sometimes /tian/ as a candle is interpreted as 'teachers' mostly in writing poems as a candle is burnt itself to light a way for the one who holds it - just like teachers who sacrifice themselves for students' brighter future - something like that. 😉
And if you put /see/ /สี/, which means colors, in front of 'tian' /เทียน/, as a candle, this combined word becomes 'crayons' /สีเทียน/ /see-tian/ in Thai. I assume that because the texture of candles and crayons is alike so... 😁
And I think Earth really plays the Khlui himself in the scene just like you said. 😉

I loooved how they are showing that Phupha is pretty much instantly attracted to Tian. He clearly likes him from the get go and is teasing him because he doesn’t know what to do with himself around a pretty guy like Tian. Tian also seems to be attracted to Phupha and not surprised by it either, so I‘m glad that so far they don‘t go the completely esoteric ‚his heart is making him have these feelings’-route, but more of a mix of realism and supernatural elements.
Phuphas relationship with Torfun seems to have been a lot more brotherly judging by their interactions in the flashbacks. He’s very guarded around her, in a way he isn’t around Tian. He was clearly very fond of her, but from what we’ve seen so far he doesn’t seem to have been in love with her. Of course Phupha could be bi and just not romantically interested in Torfun, but my hunch is that he’s gay and very much smitten with Tian.
I feel like something baaaaaad is going to happen in regards to Tians health though, they keep emphasizing the things he is and isn’t supposed to do and while his parents were definitely overprotective of him, going to a place without water, electricity and easy access to a food plan, in the soaring heat, six months after a heart transplant is probably not great.
In regards to who hit Torfun, or if maybe something iffy went on with her organ donation, I’m not sure yet. They implied that Tians parents payed to have him jump ahead in the cue (wich.....he was in cardiac arrest and clearly in life or death danger, that’s usually already enough to put someone at the top of the cue, it factors in urgency, so I’m not to sure why they would have payed for that), but maybe something more sinister was going on? It probably wasn’t Tian who hit her, at least I hope he didin’’t go do a car race with heart palpitations, but maybe there was a chance she could have been saved and they didn‘t?
I think maybe it was Tian's car but the driver was one of the friends (the couple I would guess) IDK but also ...they said the family of Torfun got the money so the aunt right? Maybe she had the upper hand in the choice of the receiver of the heart and the parents got the information so they could bribe her into choosing Tian...and if they sold out the car ..maybe they knew that Tian's car was involved in that accident(?) ...I'm not sure but I feel like (hearing the sound) the car speeded up when it hit Torfun so ..at the funeral service Phu was mad that they gave money even tho they claimed that it was an accident and he was at the hotel on that day we still don't know why so ...I can't wait to know about all these 😆😆😆
I adore this drama already, it's already so good and I can tell it's going to be something special, I also really love the theme song it's perfect for this show

Hahaha, I already thought that you had to mention for Tian's study as Engineering 😅 However, in novel, his Engineering knowledgebase will help him a lot of things while he is at Pha Pun Dao village. There is many surprised for reader like me and so reasonable. Lets watch that will TV series bring this point to audience or not. 😁

I feel like Tian is going to get in trouble with his heath, he is pushing himself too much, he was barely walking long distances before he came here. I also wonder if Chief Phupa was romantically interested in Torfun or just as a close friend,? Like is he gay/bi or straight and just drawn to Tian because he has Torfun's heart? One of those gay only for you kind of things. So far I am really enjoying the drama and I almost didn't start watching it because I wasn't sure how the concept would play out, but so far I agree it is just really well done and progressing really naturally. Looking forward to next week!

In case you haven't noticed it already, Drake, Yod and some other villagers, they're all speaking with northern dialect which is slightly different in its lexicon, tone and pronunciation from the way Tian and Phupa speak.

Tian's health is so going to become an issue otherwise they wouldn't have had the scene about the meds and food. I get the feeling that when Tian was looking at Phupa at the waterfall, he was half checking him out, half thinking of his own scar.
This show is already my "get through the lockdown of 2021" must have. I find myself looking forward to it the same way I looked forward to 2together, except I think I will cry a lot more.
Moral of the story: have a lesson plan and watch your students like a hawk! :)

The Instrument that the Chief has play is a Khlui which mean Flute but it is Thai style flute. or SEA style flute
This show is giving us something that a lot of others dont, which is character growth outside of the romantic relationship. By showing us tian and his struggles in adapting to this lifestyle and his journey to being a good teacher and giving these scenes actual screentime and weight, it makes us understand him better as a character, and become attached to him. I really enjoy this and I hope it keeps on being like this. I'm all for completely romance oriented shows too ngl but sometimes it happens that the characters become too flat and their personality revolves too much around the romance.
So yes, I'm loving that aspect of the show.
That being said! I am also! Absolutely loving the bickering between tian and phupha and I can't wait to see all the future sweet and romantic scenes they have for us.
This is definitely already one of my favorite shows and it's only the 2nd ep. I also feel like maybe I'm overhyping it sometimes but then I decide that no, the show really is that good and earth and mix are doing a wonderful job.

I believe besides the chemistry between Earth and Mix is P' Off' s magic. He was Still 2gether' s director. That's why i feel how he had pictured regarding each episode and editing the story telling like how to connect the hint and revealing it at the end of each episode and made it complete the plot and characters's improvements within that ep. while continue with more stories ahead to be told.
I worry that Tian's heart condition will get worse from the food he has to eat.
PS also as a former teacher, not having a lesson plan gives me anxiety issues. 😅
I hated preparing lesson plans back then. Felt so unnecessary and time consuming. But thinking about it now I would've done worse than Tien without those plans lol.
It is time-consuming and I also hated that part. But it was necessary, else I would not know what to talk / teach about 😂

I am loving the quality of this series you can tell they put so much hard work into this and the results show it. I love how Tian looks at Phupha there was another bl series I was recently watching where they said what they needed to say with just their eyes sometimes that is very hard to pull off but they do it very well. I thought it was so sneaky of Phupha that he took Tian to the waterfall and couldn't help but take a few peeks at him which thankfully lead to us seeing that nice body of Phupha and that interesting tat. I like their little bickering as well as it like they're an old married couple already. When they were on that table eating two things went into my mind; one they were sitting on the table which I remember when I did that back in school I got in trouble for so I wish I had this series back then to say table = chair lol and two I would be nervous too like Tian eating that spicy food as I don't like it. Hopefully, Tian will start to get his feet into the ground of teaching but it is very hard to teach children but he should develop a lesson plan, and if going swimming to have a swim buddy to keep track of them.

After finished the series and watch it again with you here, I understand now why Chief Phupa always did or said something that make Tian gave up being a volunteer teacher there and kidda pushed him away. He really did it for a reason.

In novel. Phupha don’t have feeling with Tofun and Tian is not person hit Tofun. And actually novel is more interesting than film as they must change a lot of things bcs Thai politics. But if you see behind the screen you could understand how hard to shooting in the mountains and their effort to make this series happen so pls support them 😊

I didn't think about this before, but I was reading now and what if Tian found out that his father is corrupt and involved with the bad guys in that place, because he is the permanent secretary of the Ministry of Natural resources and Environment, right? The place where he is now is the Red zone, don't know much about it, but there must be some involvement with the environment stuff isn't it? Anyway, just throwing hypothesis in the air kkkk
"used to be". His father is no longer in that position.
If his father is in any way involved in in that area, probably he asked some of his connections to monitor Tian's being while staying over there.
I have a suspicion that Chief Phu may have been asked to look after Tian. He was there in the meeting in the first episode. Maybe he somehow got acquainted with Tian's parents in that occasion. And when Tian decided to run away from his home, his parents might pull some string to at least know where their son is, and when they found it out they pull another string to make sure that their son survive.
That's just my suspicion, though.

You know what? In the scene where Tian decided his name in English was Tony and the kids were asking him for Phupha's....we had the same reaction!

I dont know if this is true because i havent confirm it yet but did you kniw that Mix has been offered several projects but he reject it but when they offer this series he, without a doubt, grab it because of Earth.

For that theory in the beginning (I haven't watched the rest of the video yet), I don't think it would make sense that one of his friends hit her during the race because White (i don't remember his name in the series 😭) was on the phone with someone saying that "the road has been reserved" meaning it should be empty so I don't think it would've made sense for them to race with that many cars on the road but idk. I don't think the accident was done on purpose because the car was slamming on their brakes and Torfun just sat there even though she could've moved out of the way in time. I'm just guessing that it really was an accident since the driver wasn't expecting anyone to be on the road and Torfun went to get the picture and didn't move away on time. This is just my theory hahaha (sorry for my grammatical errors, it's 1 am rn and I couldnt sleep lmao)
My fav scene is when Phupha played the Klui and thought of Torfun and Tian at the same time.
