Everyone sleeps on this album, even amongst fans, and I never understood why. It’s compositionally and creatively a masterpiece. It’s a little weird with a strong jazz rock vibe in the first half, but holy shit does it exude originality and creativity.
Personally my favorite Eidola album and one of the best albums of the 2010s for me.
@@SaoGage for sure, I should have also mentioned TGGE, it's not my favorite of their albums but the second half of the album is definitely more towards the proggy side that I love. And awesome username, love me some Coheed. :)

God! 2:15 hit me so hard! Beautiful beyond my words. It's just a feeling. This album had to contend with my love for Spiritbox which we've all been waiting for for nearly half a year and.....it completely matched up if not exceeded them. What a wonderful time to be a metal fan!

This album is pure perfection. Been waiting on a new album from these boys for what 4 years since to speak, to listen came out. Literally Eidola can do no wrong, the best proggy post hardcore band there is.

I have listened to this album many many many times front to back and this is my favorite song on it confirmed.
I really love this album...I think every song is intriguing musically, the instrumentation and production is stellar, and the melodies on every song are very memorable and have a very good sensibility to them. Excellent job, one of my favorite albums of 2021 so far!

You can’t even compare the 2 IMO. Eidola is way more prog/tech than dgd ever was. Especially their earlier albums were super proggy
