I'm a rack store fiend, we literally have 12 in my area, 4 of which are TJ Maxx. (not to mention Marshall's Gabe's, Ross, Nordstrom Rack, and Burlington) Really great to see other folks mention weirdly specific things about TJ Maxx in particular in the comments, I always wondered if I were alone being a rack store weirdo. TJX in particular is a shell of itself when it comes to fragrances. Still got some solid clothes, though! Largely responsible for my somewhat eclectic style.
We also have some department stores that have their own rack stores: Macy's Backstage, Nordstrom Rack, and Saks Off 5th. I'd recommend checking them out next time you're in the states.
Nordstrom Rack is notorious for having a lot of Tom Ford. Good shout on Nordy's.
Jimmy Choo Urban Hero Gold is actually a fantastic scent! Highly underrated and not talked about much.

I went to Londen 2 weeks ago for the first time.
The tk maxx we went to had Miller Harris - Wander through the Parks.
I was really happy with that because i have more from the line and in the Netherlands it is really hard to find and definitely for that price
Holly heck! at @1:09 That Hermes "L'Ombre Des Merveilles" is a find! I would have grabbed that in a heartbeat. And yes you should go back for those Eight and Bobs for that price its well worth.
I feel like the days of TK Maxx bargains and surprise finds are coming to an end. The ones in central London are pretty barren.
Soon you won’t even find many retail stores, most going online, just like cash will be a thing of the past
Last week, I saw a 4.2 ML of Acqua Di Gio Profondo at Ross for 89.99
Picked up Joop Eu Parfum for £22 for a 75ml. Haven't cracked it open yet, seen a few reviews on TH-cam. But honestly, don't know what to expect 😅

In the US, people over 55 get 10% off on Tuesdays at Ross. I go every week to look. This week, I got Grey Flannel for 9$.
In the US, the hierarchy is Saks Off 5th, Marshall's, Nordstrom Rack (extremely hit or miss, whereas it "should" be higher end than Marshall's, they'll usually have the usual Acqua Essenziale and Azzaro Chrome), Burlington, TJ Maxx, Ross and the worst is Macy's Backstage. I recommend that you don't even waste your time at Macy's Backstage. It's mostly those dirt cheap celebrity gift sets like Pitbull for men. Also, in New York, there's a Fragrancenet store that's sometimes good!
My local Marshall's usually has a very few fragrances. I have better luck at my local Ross and Burlington, although still alot of Nauticas and Azzaro Chromes.
One thing about the rack stores are the people who buy fragrances in them do not know anything about fragrances so these stores tend to have stuff left after Xmas for a shed load less money.
Wow, at mine (Texas) we have none of these. Just junk like Curve, Guess, English Laundry, CK Obsession and weird store brands... 😢

At TJ today, they had a 4-piece Eros EDP 100ml gift set for $80. Not too bad, but I can get a 200ml for around $100. Nice gift for someone, though.

The local TJ Maxx in my home town is dreadful 😂. You’ll typically see Drakkar, Cool Water, and Nautica Voyage. Maybe some of the less popular Versace or CK fragrances. But after that, the rest of the selection might as well be bathroom spray. Best discovery I’ve had there was Missoni Wave for $16. Which I already owned but I snagged 2 for gifts.
They had Tom Ford White Suede in my local store and a few other things but nothing mind blowing. They had Dunhill Icon Absolute, which I do quite like, but it was not that cheap compared to what you can get it.
Leeds...my second home...I lived there for over 15years..good times
My local TKMax used to have quite a lot of fragrance but recently nothing.

In the states this year it's Dylan blue, eros, the Dreamer and D&G pour homme. Everything else is garbage 😅 not that those are great but yeah. You guys have a great selection

It's few and far between for my local TJMAXX but I have found a few good scores. 100ml Juliette Has A Gun Not A Perfume for $30. Spicebomb original had no price tag so they gave it to me for 20. Didn't pick them up but at Christmas time last year mine had a huge stockpile of Commodity frags.
The key with rack stores is you can take the label off one item and put it in another that is more expensive and give yourself a well deserved discount. I only heard of this of course, never done it 😂

you guys have quite a few different designers. We don't get any Eight and Bob and it's been years since i've seen Guerlain
I would have never had the strength to walk away from those Eight & Bob frags or the Aqua Di Parmas. I would have had a field day going through that first store. I live in Worcester Massachusetts and we 2 Burlington's, 4 Marshalls, 6 TJ Maxxs and 2 Nordstrom Racks and it doesn't take longer than 25 minutes to get to any one of them from my house. But I was really envious seeing all the goods you had in that first store, TK Maxx I think it was? Ours are mostly filled with Guess/CK/Nautica/Hillfiger/Tommy Bahama/Hollister/Varvatos/Kenneth Cole/Hugo Boss/Perry Ellis and then the mustang/Lamborghini grab. Versace too but other than the Dylan Blue it's never the really good stuff like Eros EDP or Parfum or Oud Noir. Coach and Gucci frags will come in waves too but overall your rack stores look way better than what I have here.
Been checking that TK maxx out in Leeds for the past month since first watching your video from last year. Nothing in there for me fragrance wise. Hoping to get lucky on a TF one day. Gold Label clothes downstairs is good though

Their Miller Harris prices are good. Also (though I've only seen them online) La Manufacture and Zilli are excellent value there. But much of the rest of it is no cheaper than you can get elsewhere, as you say...
I actually hear good things about Miller Harris but the fact they are consistently abundant on the TK Maxx racks cheapens the brand and puts me off a bit.
@@FRAGMENTAL I'm a bit the opposite. Makes me more likely to buy them (and I have). That one in the yellow box is, I think, Citron Citron, and one of my favourites. A bit like Penhaligons Blenheim Bouquet I reckon, but possibly more wearable. But obviously it's a matter of taste. We don't all necessarily like the same things!
my two local tkmaxx stores are both pretty lame at the moment

I stopped expecting anything from the rack stores. The level of fragrance knowledge you guys and alot of us who watch your channel are at, rack stores wont suffice. Theyre meant for the general public who just likes to grab a fragrance and use it all year i think. I go in there for fun still
TJ Maxx/Marshall's/Burlington have as good a selection/price as Fragrancenet but it's nice to not have to wait AND not have to pay for shipping.
I love Safari by Ralph Lauren but I am pretty sure it can be had for less than that.

At least TKmax in England has perfumes, the ones in Australian have none, only scented candles and bath scents

Basically 90% 20€ shit scents and not even something like the Aqua Essenziale Line by Ferragamo. I want the Colonia version.
The "best" I found was a censored Tom Ford Fucking Fabulous with a red stripe over the bad word for 299€...What a bargain, eh?
Other small things were D&G pour homme or some Boss fragrances for prices like 50€+ etc. Now its even worse. They basically have nothing anymore but the cheapest of the cheap...The Azzaro Sport I saw in your fisrt shop would be an outstanding find now.

I noticed that for father's Day this year the Leeds centre store was packed with frags, some in the usual space and some off over in the father day section. They had a bunch of Dunhill including some of the signature line. Forewarning I will say hello if I bump into you...even if you're filming...

Why are D&G frags always priced so high? Among my not insignificant collection, D&G is consistently the least projecting and the least long-lived of any brand I've seen.
I really like some of the Light Blue seasonal flankers, but I swear they're completely undetectable after 2-3 hours even if I bathe in it.
I cannot believe that they would choose the name "Oud Woody" instead of "Oudy Wood" that actually blows my mind.

But its all about the fossicking! btw for all you GB people, if you go to British Red Cross chazzas, they have a partnership with ZARA, and, the one near me had x 8 different new bottles, for like a quarter of what yiou would pay for same items on the ebay

TJ maxx in the US has no men fragrances. Ross/Marshalls/Burlington does have them but I have rarely seen anything worth a pick up. I found D&G the one 10ml bottle once, 50ml Dylan blue, 100 ml nuit d'issey. I've been going back now and then for the last 2 years and never found anything good.
1000% wrong. TJ Maxx absolutely has men's fragrances. It's just maybe the one near you doesn't. Mine i've seen Cedrat Boise earlier this year, Byredo, Hermes, Bond no. 9 returns. Now Bond no 9 isn't common but also if you're looking for th popular milestone clones they got some of those too. And my marshalls has had hella stuff in the past month but before that. Creed aventus, byredo, versace, spice bomb, eros, eros flame, le malle, one million, are just some that i've seen since the beginning of november. The said, i will say online discounters have better deals most of the time.
There's like 5 TJ maxx's near me and couple more in a city next to mine and I never seen any other than extremely cheap $5-10 ones no one ever heard of. Well they’re stores with racks in them so…Also you have to appreciate a huge percentage of my audience are in the US so I have appeal to everyone.
The big supermarkets have racks in them........ pandering to the USA audience, not good. Don't sell your soul for a few extra views, people that want to watch will. For Chris's USA audience, in the UK we call rack stores, discount stores. The reason we call them that, items are simply reduced and not retail prices.
It's cheaper to buy online, TK don't have good prices on fragrances
