Love the hazel and the humour around calling it willow. Good to see the tutorials back again. My family brought me an iPad for my birthday especially to watch your uploads. Great to see the arrangements on a bigger screen.
Sharon this is beautiful. I love your explanation of moving past the vertical column design by adding the hazel branches to the side! Such a lovely way to add movement and increase the volume of the arrangement. Thank you for sharing your talents!

Stunning! Where I live (central Ohio) forsythia and sun flowers don't bloom at same time of year. What is substitute for forsythia in the middle of summer?
They should be good for 6 days maximum. But less if the room is hot. Try and get them deep into the foam and make sure you can fill the container regularly with water to keep the foam hydrated. Hope that helps 😃
Is your foam free of poisons? Here in the USA those flowers do not grow in the gardens at the same time. Do they in your country or are you buying from the store
Hi there, thanks for watching one of my videos. Unfortunately no foams are free of toxins, not even the environmentally friendly versions. I'm in the UK and most of these flowers are from local supermarkets because the tutorial is to help arrangers learn floral design if they don't have access to a florist shop or don't grow their own. You'll find a range of educational videos here, explaining about all the different methods of construction, different foam, wire netting etc. you'll also find lots of information about sustainable arranging, locally grown and imported blooms. Great to see you on the channel and actively participating in the comments section.

We don't have many sunflowers available at the moment but as soon as they start coming through, I'll plan a tutorial

Thank Anna - these are commercially available flowers so unfortunately not seasonal. Would you have Liatris or Gladioli at the same time?
🥰🥰
Thank you
Very nice Sharon, any idea the diameter of the top of your container? Thanks
5-6 inches ish!
How long will the sunflowers last in the foam? I need the arrangements to last at least six days.
