Quite possible. Like in MK, Netherealm really has a thing for making the formerly incorruptible into villains beyond redemption. This could wind up as the canon ending, as a result.

Too vague dude. Marvel and DC both have their share of villains that fit that description. So it's not really a straight line. My current opinion is that Marvel's films are usually good. The first 3 new DCU movies were shit, but Wonder Woman was on point. New Justice League could be good. Injustice 2 was amazing and the new Marvel vs. Capcom looks terrible. Before hand Marvel used to make good games, now it seems to be reversing. Marvel was killing it with comics at one point, and now DC seems to be the way to go. It comes in waves. Remember DC was known to have top notch animation with the DC Animated universe, but couldn't make a decent movie outside of Batman for the longest time. Marvel has some damn good movies, but their animation is usually shit. (Outside of The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, and Spectacular Spider-Man)

Well let's see here.. Spared death but given a fate worse than death. He's been stripped of his humanity. A living puppet, a slave. He is completely stripped of the remainder of his life to obey without question under a man he once called friend.
What I wanted to happen in the end was Superman realizes all the bad he's done, both Batman and Superman apologize to each other, and then takes the ship to rebuild the lost cities. Then fly it into the sun to destroy it. After that, he lives on the Sun alone for many years. Isolated from the Earth to keep threats away from Earth in space, but to never come back as his personal punishment. And then becomes Superman Prime after numerous years of doing this.
That would be boring, because that's basically every story ever told. You gamers always talk about generic stories, but then you always at the same time want all the stories to end in the same predictable way.
Help him inslave the world with brainiacs powers and then brainwash Batman to be one of his slaves, pretty fucking dumb thing to say. And kill almost the whole roster of hero’s, maybe use your head, if Superman was to go with Batman they would’ve did other things with brainiac instead of taking his power and killing half of the superheroes and inslaving earth, they would’ve used brainiac as Batman’s plans were to do that, then defeat brainiac and also keep the world safe and sound with no inslaving involved, boooooom, mind blown buddy.

Nah Injustice 3: Supergirl and the rest of Batman team vs Evil Brainiac Superman and Evil Possessed Brainiac Batman and the rest of the regime as well as Darkseid and his Apokoliptan family and Parademons that comes to invade the Earth. And it going to be one huge war and one huge finale and this time Batman and Superman kill each other in their last battle.

He then goes on to kill many people and then bats shows up again just to have him arrested again, rinse and repeat. Just want to add my opinion: while I don't think Superman is entirely right, he is by far the better option, why? Because what he says is truth: the "superhero way" doesn't solve anything, heck, it may actually been doing more damage! Again, why? Because it perpetuates the status quo by capturing villains and locking them away in places that they have escape over and over AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN! It simple logic, stadistics even, that is not a solution, how many times have all these villains escape just to commit genocide again? Batman's "justice" is not justice, it doesn't even follow his own logic: he says that no life can be taken (and by that he is saying that cops that kill a criminal in the line of duty are evil) but does nothing about wars in other countrys that are under dictatorships (wich was the very first thing Superman ended) Batman only intervenes when his job as a "superhero" is at risk, that's the real reason why he keeps saving the villains.
Also, what Superman said was right, if Joer-El had cooperate with Zod, Krypton might have been saved, the same way that if Batman would have been at Superman side from the start, things could have been WAY better for everyone.

I prefer this ending since it is the most humanistic. The desire for hope and rehabilitation can be crippling if a person refuses to acknowledge that not every person desires it. If Batman respected the Joker's wishes this scenario would never have happened. No one is disputing the fact that Superman took it to far but the incident could have stayed contained or more than likely an isolated incident if lines were clearly drawn. Bruce is broke if a case ever went through for restitution for the families affected by the choices he made. I am not even referring to Injustice verse only. If nothing else the comments clearly show the division of how justice is perceived.

I love this ending, its darker and fits with the whole tone of this universe. Imo this story in which the characters are all mostly so far gone it should only end on a very dark note. I love it! same feeling I had about The Mist ending. The hell with all the snowflakes who can't enjoy a good story unless it has the perfect predictable disney ending.

I really like Batman's ending, but I can see this ending as being the more interesting one and the better one to base the next Injustice game on... also it feels like more effort was put into this ending than the other one. I mean come on... the Circle of Trust? They said it could be hard to pick who would team or fight with whom based on all the characters involved. But one thing they agreed on - "We could never, for example, have the Joker fight the Punisher."

Yeah, they've done well in comics. I find some of their film villain motivations flawed, and tiresome. Most of the villains just want to rule.
Too vague dude. Marvel and DC both have their share of villains that fit that description. So it's not really a straight line. My current opinion is that Marvel's films are usually good. The first 3 new DCU movies were shit, but Wonder Woman was on point. New Justice League could be good. Injustice 2 was amazing and the new Marvel vs. Capcom looks terrible. Before hand Marvel used to make good games, now it seems to be reversing. Marvel was killing it with comics at one point, and now DC seems to be the way to go. It comes in waves. Remember DC was known to have top notch animation with the DC Animated universe, but couldn't make a decent movie outside of Batman for the longest time. Marvel has some damn good movies, but their animation is usually shit. (Outside of The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, and Spectacular Spider-Man)

What I wanted to happen in the end was Superman realizes all the bad he's done, both Batman and Superman apologize to each other, and then takes the ship to rebuild the lost cities. Then fly it into the sun to destroy it. After that, he lives on the Sun alone for many years. Isolated from the Earth to keep threats away from Earth in space, but to never come back as his personal punishment. And then becomes Superman Prime after numerous years of doing this.
this ending shows that it's not always a happily ever after ending, that's what I like about it.

Batman may have provoked Superman for killing bad guys (Which I don't care for) but the fact that Superman in the end kills heroes, innocent people, turned his friends into murderers and tried to destroy another dimension proves Batman's point of Superman going over the edge and now is basically insane or if you wanna say he's not than he's in denial. Love both sides of endings but the execution on who beats who in both I find lackluster.

This is the best ending by far. Batman needed to be stopped. He was doing far more harm than good. And Superman did a lot more good than harm.
Just want to add my opinion: while I don't think Superman is entirely right, he is by far the better option, why? Because what he says is truth: the "superhero way" doesn't solve anything, heck, it may actually been doing more damage! Again, why? Because it perpetuates the status quo by capturing villains and locking them away in places that they have escape over and over AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN!
It simple logic, stadistics even, that is not a solution, how many times have all these villains escape just to commit genocide again? Batman's "justice" is not justice, it doesn't even follow his own logic: he says that no life can be taken (and by that he is saying that cops that kill a criminal in the line of duty are evil) but does nothing about wars in other countrys that are under dictatorships (wich was the very first thing Superman ended) Batman only intervenes when his job as a "superhero" is at risk, that's the real reason why he keeps saving the villains.
Also, what Superman said was right, if Joer-El had cooperate with Zod, Krypton might have been saved, the same way that if Batman would have been at Superman side from the start, things could have been WAY better for everyone.

I prefer this ending since it is the most humanistic. The desire for hope and rehabilitation can be crippling if a person refuses to acknowledge that not every person desires it. If Batman respected the Joker's wishes this scenario would never have happened. No one is disputing the fact that Superman took it to far but the incident could have stayed contained or more than likely an isolated incident if lines were clearly drawn. Bruce is broke if a case ever went through for restitution for the families affected by the choices he made. I am not even referring to Injustice verse only. If nothing else the comments clearly show the division of how justice is perceived.

I love this ending, its darker and fits with the whole tone of this universe. Imo this story in which the characters are all mostly so far gone it should only end on a very dark note. also, i was hesitant about picking a side till seeing this. i believe it is ok to take a life when it is necessary but when you just start subjugating people like superman or killing senselessly like when wonder woman tried to kill harley, that was a line i dont cross and how can she say harley doesnt deserve a second chance. with the joker dead she clearly changed her ways and was a good guy so i can no longer support the superman regime
