I really enjoyed this, I have a Reproduction that was made by a man in the 1960's and it was lost for over thirty years nobody knew where it was. They figured it was junk. But last october durring the Northern California Fires a Huge Pine Tree and Sterrel Ground saved it from being burnt. It had been covered with an Old Tarp and the Pine nuts, neddles and Nature saved it.
There are these multiple passenger bicycles called surreys and they do actually look like old fashioned cars from that era!! I wonder if that's where the bikes got their name.
I am a man that does a lot of Fund Raisers as well as being a Toy maker and a real Santa Claus when we found it the Land owner didn't even know he had it as well as two Model T Fords and a Covered Wagon. The land grew up in brush, Berries and Mansonita. The fire burnt all that cover away and there sit this old Jewel. He gave it to me for donating hi a 3000 gallon water Tank after their Flum had burnt.
We had the Motor running in 24 hours. I have completely torn it apart and refurbished it. I plan to drive it 4500 miles starting May 22, 2013 from California to Branson Missouri and The Son's Of The Pioneer's Show. It is my hopes to raise $1,000,000.00 for our Wounded and Fallen Warriors. I wish I could get other's interested and we all meet in Branson on Juy 4, 2013. But They have to drive them the same as I am going too.

Those cars had great visibility which mad them great for merging onto the interstate.

Compared to cars today it's not very fast, but in 1903 this thing must've been a very fast car.
Its pretty quick, tiller steering doesn't give you much road confidence in handling lol
