  • I have been visiting San Carlos, Negros Occidental on and off since 2009. It is my favorite small city in the Philippines. It is known for being clean and safe. Check out the downtown area with me.

Note: Very few brownouts in San Carlos. Lived 3 1/2 months and worked online with USA no problem. Loss power once for 30 minutes. Once for less than 10 minutes.

It's because the city is host to 2 Solar power farms..a biomass plant which produces 19 megawatts of electricity and an ethanol plant which has a sub product of 8 megawatts power aside from 41 million of fuel each year..

Hi Jason, thanks for the video. San Carlos is one of my preferred locations too, I actually bought a small lot at Calatrava. Btw, if you go to Central Mall, which isn’t a mall but a large park, Calvin from Sunshine Shoulders lives near there and is quite frequently exercising around there, either on his bicycle, walking or playing tennis. Hit him up, he is a terrific guy.

I have been coming here since 2008. It is kind of like America-Lite without the woke/cancel culture and high prices I have a better quality of life here at a fraction of the price in the states. Vietnam is only offering 30 day tourist visas these days. I do miss Mexico sometimes. Thanks for watching!
