The general lee i have the lettering is black in stead of blue, and the doors and hood open, mine is made by ertl though... Also 1/18 scale i got it at Walmart paid 25 dollars for it and put it together..
Thanks you should try keep it in the box if you can also, will be worth afew Bobfor you in years to come. Or you can pass it down the line to family that way the memories of the car and Tv show will live on long into the future, plus it’s a class car anyway.😀
Lol I’d say you’re not too far away from that now, the aw model as far as videos and comments I’ve read seems to be the best model of the general lee out there and getting harder to find. You have a gem on you’re hands, it’s a fabulous model.
Thanks for the view they do make the hardcastle and McCormick car, ertl make one but it’s expensive you’d be talking around the €700 mark.and rate to find there is one on eBay at the moment 👍🏻
ive had a few and all the doors are glued shut . they look like there been forced open as its known it will cause damage to open them . just glue it back there meant to be like that just like the original lee both doors was welded shut. i have the autoworld silver screen patrol car to that is even harder to get very very rare they come up for sale
Mine was made September 2015 my friend. Do you know what the difference’s are? There are some out there with black interior but they although still look fantastic aren’t screen accurate

I bought my General Lee directly from Cooters Garage it is a great looking model.

As a kid loved the knight rider car, and dukescharger.. but didnt really care for the a team. Wish they could make hard castle and mccormick car

the doors on mine don’t open same model as yours very strange
By right none of the doors should open 😁 but think they let just the one door to open just to view the details inside. Thanks for the view👍🏻
When was it made? Auto world boxes now look different than yours
