    Congrats to whoever won the AES Wave test kit. They aren't easy to get. They had a long backlog last time I checked. Very generous of them to give one away.

    Guys, I want to thank you. My takeaway is you've GOT to have a scope and to be prepared to know what the parameters of the square wave is including if the waveform is normally at ground or slightly above ground. How to know if the sensor is a pull down or pull up using a 1K resistor. That part will take some practice and a test cable between the vehicle harness and the sensor itself. Overall, a GREAT 2 + hour video.🙂🤠

    You guys make great videos! Very informative i used this info today to figure out an intermit no start when hot and stall when hot on a 2003 benz clk320 with an 2 wire crank sensor, used my utest kit from aeswave and scope found when hot it would lose signal!

    That was a great show guys! Sadly I missed the live feed. Testing the sensor with a 1000 ohm resistor was something that I was never taught in school. That was also many years ago lol. I just recieved my AES Wave test kit a couple weeks ago. Waited almost 2 months for that kit but it was well worth it. I seen Eric O use it and just had to have it. Keep up the great work guys. If you need more ideas for shows give a shout out.

    Great class if your car doesn't start with an inductive sensor push it downhill, and it will start, that is if it is a weak signal. The signal will get stronger with a higher rpm

    • @GoTechTraining
      @GoTechTraining  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That might just work, just be safe and maybe have someone push for you so your car doesn't out run you! lol

    Hello you didn't talk about what causes parts to become magnetized. Lack of ground or grounds in the wrong place.

    • @GoTechTraining
      @GoTechTraining  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Keith,
      Your right we missed that. We actually talked about a possible short video just covering the magnetism of trigger wheels. We are hoping we encounter an actual vehicle with the issue since it’s so hard to duplicate. It’s a rare but does happen and a good teaching point.
      Thank you for watching the video and reaching out!

    I see at 1 hour 15 minutes 48 seconds you have your graph showing square wave and sine wave is what that is and you're showing halfway point of the voltage going up, the voltage does not go up that sideways at the top is an on off it's instantaneous The lines that go up that is time and if you noticed there is no time is zero time is instantaneously so it's in on off on off on off signals what you're getting there is no voltage changes peak voltage say I don't know what it is cuz I'm just woke up cuz I listen to you all stuff y'all pretty good, anyway so that's going to be if it's 4:05 volts or whatever should be 5 on 0 5 0 5 0 5 0 there is no time like there is no building up to that halfway point there is no halfway point it's arm off on a peak zero peak zero is what that is your sign laid below it that's time as you see and time it goes up that this time you're looking at anyways that's my two cents I just woke up into this so unless you said something prior to that that's it on I'll switch what that is, y'all are real great I learned a lot with y'all I love this diagnostic stuff instead of selling parts at it be like a real doctor I got to walk around with my stethoscope my mechanics stethoscope when I work on cars now have to give me a white jacket lol, adding to this it is called pulsating DC your graph at the bottom is alternating current cuz it's alternating to graph at the top is pulsating DC, a DC to DC converter takes DC and it chops it up on off on off and Venice amplified to a higher voltage probably on those electric cars I'm guessing and, so it's an imitation AC circuit that's not true AC that's why if you buy an inverter you get the sine wave because that is a more advanced better version and you'll see the cheaper ones are called square wave I don't know if they say square waves on the box but it will if it's a sine wave it will say sine wave truth which is true alternating current somehow they get must put a motor in it I don't know how they do it but that's different badass educational videos
