Love it and glad you’re doing something aside from COD which I won’t play due to their crap with Nick and crew, this game looks great aside from graphics but gameplay honestly matters more imho than graphics anyhow.

This. It feels like that was the entire goal. Period. I feel like they weren't even thinking about making a profit. Like they just wanted a fun game to play. And here it is. Something like seven years in the making we have a roblox looking game that is more enjoyable that any AAA game released in the past ten years.
in it's earliest iteration it was almost purely a mil-sim like squad/arma.. and.. it failed to garner enough attention that they felt good moving forward, and so they conceded that not everyone likes milsim.. but they used the base they had *extremely* well to build a very fun experience, and believe it or not, some milsim features are just.. better, in casual than alot that casual games have to offer, they still want to offer that pure milsim experience, but they understood the assignment, nobody's going face first into a game if they don't enjoy the game.. the milsim experience battlebit will offer in addition to the base they've built in the future, may entice other people to play milsim, and they may end up finding they love that experience just as much or even more..
@@ThatWhichObservesI've heard (only as in literal hearsay) that they may be bringing back the milsim mode or something closer to it. Kinda hope they do tbh.
@@collinb.8542 I was under the impression it was already confirmed that there would at minimum be a milsim mode. I'd have to check but Milsim seemed to always be the intention, the incongruency between graphics and gameplay forced them to make a decision on how to release the game though it seems. Kind of like how Unturned is essentially Day Z, with slightly less in-depth mechanics, that everyone has seemed to write off at one time or another as a 'child's day-z' just because of the art direction.

They made all kinds of mistakes though. And all of that is going to get swept under the rug. You'll be right back to square one in no time. Gamers have been eating shit for so long the first marginally fresh dumpster sandwich and they all jump for it with no complaints.

The gameplay is so fun that sometimes you just forget and don't mind the graphics at all.
I really like that sometimes I get so immersed I completely forget it's low poly graphics, it's amazing.
Our brain upgrades the graphics when we havin fun in this game...

might get kinda screwy if you're in a non-armored vehicle and get wounded and try to heal yourself (that can happen, dunno if you can remap).
The game is perfection gameplay wise. I feel like they can add a lil bit of animation to the reloads, a lil urgency to the animation but that is nick picking. This game is a banger.
You can hold the reload button, it reloads faster but you drop the magazine
There are two different reloads, a normal reload and tactical reload where you drop the mag for a quicker reload. Also the attachments on your gun influence reload time.

About 80 hours in the game so far, nothing but fun gameplay and replayability. The comms are such a great feature too!
Even the flag capping mechanic is amazing, no enemies spawning all around you while you try to cap, so long as an enemy is in cap range no one can spawn on the flag itself!

Stone so glad you pushed through the Minecraft look, the gameplay is lit and the story is fantastic (3 devs did it all basically, $15 for the game and they engage with the community - one of them was livestreaming rebalancing a gun last weekend (or the weekend before) for anyone that wanted to see. Great to see you doing this.

The gameplay is so good that your brain makes the graphics better to match. Some of the most intense and petrifying experiences I've had in FPS multiplayer games ever.
I've been playing this with my buddies for a few weeks now and honestly impressive how stable it is with max players in it. Personally I don't mind the the graphics I still play classic games on my og consoles that's probably why it's so easy to over look that for me.

I’ve been playing battlefield since BF2 and this is the most fun I’ve had since probably BF3. It just feels so right. It’s epic, the gunplay is solid, it isn’t overly frustrating and it’s challenging. Dice needs to take notes.

Battlebit is the most fun ive had in game in a long time. Maybe ever. The chat, the weapon progression, pulling off an awesome kill, its just epic.
Yep...I was the same especially as an older gamer. I was convinced there was no way in the hell I was going to dig a roblox style game (never touched them). BUT this game makes you easily forget about the visual art style because of the gameplay and features. Stuff that apparently AAA Studios forgot exist while smacking you with their $70 price tag!
Going full-time medic is fun, dragging the wounded to a cover and rezzing them + healing + coms. Fight on brothers!

This game delivers on gameplay. Point blank. This game is a work of beauty. I love realistic shooters, but the gun mechanics and game mechanics in general is on point.
It's been a really fun game. My buddies and I go partisan the enemies MSR and ASR with rpgs and mines/c4. Keeping vehicles out of play really turns the tides.

I think, biggest of all, what made their launch such a success was bringing a game with completed mechanics, gameplay and grind system. When was the last hyped game that launched flawlessly? Its ok, ill wait.

I hope they add more incentive to defend points, cause people just run to the next one without a thought or randomly capture points on the enemies side when they can't even keep their first two/closest ones.
also knowing which squads are already at a capture point is useful to help balance
Stone, combine drag and bandage in keybindings. that way you can heal while in a drag, its a game changer
The gameplay has so many playstyles available, the gunplay feels good. And truly, the game is just FUN. I haven't truly had fun playing a game in ages, always just feel like I'm grinding or working or getting scammed by lootboxes lately, but not BattleBit! Game delivers, works on my potato of a PC so I can play it with all my friends. It's just. SO GOOD.

You can choose to double tap R to drop the magazine instead of putting it in your mag pouch. Handy for dropping someone a full mag when they're low on ammo.
Never played MineCraft or Roblox. Lowest res game I had played was Valheim, because the style really is beautiful. I was skeptical getting this game, but after a while, I didn't even see the blocks anymore, it's so good. I have been playing FPS for about 25 years and this is one of the best I have played.

The roblox graphics are actually the point behind the game. The devs wanted to make a military sim/battlefield style game that could play on the lowest end specs as well as be more affordable for people around the world. The game-play itself is actually incredibly clean and deep with lots of nuance to the guns, the classes, etc...
no they used the roblox engine because they're too dogshit to create their own engine.

I was laughing at the graphics since their first beta test, but I was surprise I was playing for like 8hrs of it that is how the gameplay is good.
SM. Even Timmy said this game has potentially and is really fun. He has a video up on it from last week and he got into it super quick and he was also skeptical because of the graphics. This game feels like BF 3, but with so much more. Even with the Graphics.
Your buddy NEEDS to try this instead of just passing it by at a glance. And for $15, it's easily worth it. Time, and again, games have shown that it's not the graphics that make the game fun, only make it beautiful. If the gameplay is 100% there, then the graphics don't need to do very much work.

I always thought that a lot of the Battlefield team gameplay feel would be fixed by just having more people. If even a couple people listen or just do what they should herd mentality kicks in and others follow the successful people that made the right call.
