When you begin chaining the foundation chain, after the 5th chain stitch, hook it; you'll have a loop of five chains underneath your hook. Then, just chain away. When you get to the end where you need to make the connection, simply do a slip stitch! No twists!! I swear it works. You don't need to keep checking to see if your chain is twisted! Learned this from my Aunt! Happy hooking!
Hi I have made two of these so far and plan on selling them. They are beautiful. A helpful hint to trim the fringe...I use my rotary cutter. Works perfect and gives a perfect edge. Great tutorial.
Thank you sooooo much for this easy to follow pattern. You've explained it perfectly. Loved the tutorial and am definitely going to make some for gifts.
Lovely tutorial thanks a lot! I have already done one for me and 3 as gifts and still will make more gifts!! Many thanks and happy new year! Greetings from Egypt😘😘
I love this beautiful cowl! I love fringes I can’t ever thank you enough for this video especially at this time of year, I can’t believe it’s so easy to make, you are a great teacher I love the way you explain things, Merry Christmas 🎄
So cute.. I love this crochet cowl. I did mine a little different ..when I place the fringe on I left the loops on the ends instead of cutting them off..so cute. Thank you for sharing I do appreciate your videos. And again, Thank you so much. HUGS!!
Cute cowl but I'm not a fringe person.🤔😮 Do you think it would look ok without the fringe? Have a wonderful holiday! Just wanted to add that you are a wonderful teacher. I appreciate how you explain the pattern. Oops, I asked to soon, you did say the fringe was optional.
Love all your tutorials the festive cranberry cowl will I be able to crochet use the redheart team spirit chunky yarn it is 5 oz / 141 g 83 yds/ 76 m. In your video you mention that you us one skein of yarn will I be able to use one skein of this yarn or should I us more thank you for all you do be blessed.
Great pattern, but when making the fringe you could have wasted less yarn by measuring a length of yarn and cutting the rest in that length. The way you did it you cut so much excess yarn off- some people don't have it like that waste - just saying 😳🌷
