I find Leon especially tragic in the RE universe. Like our dear awkward Ethan he was just a man thrown into shitty situation and was forced to adapt just for the sake of his survival. Which sadly left him as one of the most well equipped people to deal with Umbrella and others like them. Which, in a world were people like that can be counted on one hand in that point of time, meant governments, and companies would hire him to deal with those threats. A man who wanted to be nothing more than a beat cop was forced to be a soldier, dealing with those who had no right asking a man like him to do so much. And yet he recognized his abilities and duty but never counted his skills as a blessing like Chris did, just something necessary to save lives. He didn't want this fight, but he will fight it to keep others safe.

Leon always wanted to be in the police force but that future was taken away by fate and sometimes fate can be a cold stone son of a bitch

Yk, as important as Chris, Jill, Wesker and other protagonists from RE1/RE0 really are, deep inside I still consider Leon as the icon of Resident Evil. he was literally featured in more films and games than most characters. I'm sure even Capcom knows it too. the first thought to mind when Resident Evil is mentioned, it's always Leon.
Re4 made them the most money. Leon is their cashcow. He's just too iconic
Leon is kinda like Rebecca, both want to see an end to this insane warfare of all these monsters running amok, but to also BE of help to end it. And just like her, they both are reaching the point when they may have to hang it up soon, they aren’t as young as they were 20+ years ago but still tried helping anyway possible. Both with depressed, their own PTSD, and ofcourse feeling more and more unmotivated the more they stay the same in an endless war, from 1 crises to another, for so long.
This would be an amazing movie wayyy better than the other RE movies

My friend. You do a very great job on your videos. I can see that you have a lot of passion for what you do and I think that your work is something really amazing. Your choice of characters for your videos are also very interesting, because most of them are deep. And you pass that on your videos, their emotions and reasons. You pass how Kratos feel that his nothing but a monster. How conflicted Peter his by need to fight the one he look up to, to save others. How Nero can't let his new found family fight to the death (even though Nero isn't a very deep character, you make him look deep.) How Vergil feel the need to be the better than his brother, that he's "a force to be reckoned with." Like the song it self say. And now, how Leon think that his life is a never ending cicle of fighting. The more he stops people like Saddler, Simmons and Arias, the more people like then show up but he can't stop fighting because he need to save others. Anyway, I really enjoy your content and think that you amazing at what you do.
Thank you very much for such a detailed answer. But I must correct you. The video "I'm not letting you die" has no focus only on Nero. I was just trying to make a strong and dynamic video because I was impressed with the DMC5. But only after I noticed that a few more than I wanted, focused on Nero. And also noticed that the video turned out to be very similar in structure to the trailer for some blockbuster.

Leon is by far the best character in the franchise. Just HATE his story with Ada. Makes him a love sick puppy and every scene their in together makes Leon look out of character lmfao. I always preferred him better with Claire. Much more chemistry and they have Leon be himself and not some child.

How you gonna say he's your favorite character but hate one of his story arcs? His love for Ada basically means he's not perfect and somewhat corrupt. It's what makes him different from the other 3 leads and it's interesting.
I agree. I think Helena would be much better for him because she's so much more loyal and cares about her friends (even though she probably doesn't have any). Not once did she leave Leon's side during their story. Although, Claire is a good option too.
@@deskchan he can easily say it. exactly because he is a fav character, you expect better for him. and he DOES deserve better. yes, it was an interesting concept with him being "corrupted" by fallin' in love with ada once, but not for 15 years ahead. it became ridiculous concept after SO many years. simping for ada for almost 20 years? please. that's exactly why people say he does look like a sick puppy, and this is SO out of his character by his 40s especially. i do really hope, that by the events of vendetta he already let go of ada

By the way... On TH-cam there is not so much a good videos about Leon and Ada relationship. It was really surprised me, because their story is so old and have fans all over the world. But maybe most of them just playing games... Don't know... So, I wanted to say that I uploaded my own video tribute didicated to Leon & Ada. I wanted to give this two some kind of happy end and show the little part of a romantic story. If you have time, check it out. I will really appreciate it. I made it with all my heart.

RE4 graphics would not blend well with the rest.
@@ResidentReveler true RE4's graphics wouldn't work given the engine it was made on and how old the game is but there is a mod that is still being developed for RE4 called the HD Project to give the game the real HD Remaster treatment (it's not completed yet), but if you want I will leave a link to their Main Website so you can check out how much progress they have made so far, I'll also link you to both their Twitter Page and one of the two guy's TH-cam channel and if you can please give them some support and give them some feedback on the project so far!

While these videos don't pay, so I took requests and spent time on them. While my channel is developing, I make videos with the frequency with which it is convenient for me.
