I enjoy watching you and seeing all your projects. Your taste is much like mine. I just returned to cross stitch this year after stopping 15 years ago to make a quilt for my one and only grandchild, a grand baby girl. Cross stitching sure has changed in that time frame. I have 15 projects already stitched or kitted and ready to stitch. I have Lori Holt’s Granny’s Garden and Prim and Proper quilt kits ready and waiting to be made in the near future. Today I worked on 5 projects bags and will finish them up tomorrow. I love any type of handwork. I do hand appliqué, EPP and hand quilting. I have a Sunbonnet Sue quilt that I really need to finish for my granddaughter. I have had it in the frame for a few years. I am so ashamed for not getting it done long ago. My plan is to have it done before Christmas. I have decided that I need to do some time management plans to get the things I want to get done...done!! You have inspired me to get busy! After seeing your spool quilt last week, i purchased the All Hallows Eve fabric . I had the pattern and I always thought I would make it will all my Halloween fabric stash, but I was happy to find that that fabric line came back out this year. I also have more Halloween stitching than I could possibly complete this year. I like your white flowers on the Murkey fabric. They came across great on screen.

I just love seeing all your projects. I would not abandon your Stacey Nash. You could try doing a second top leg in the white which I’ve done on some fabrics when I wanted more coverage. Or you could find a comparable color in a silk from NPI which has nice “spread” as it stitches. Can’t wait to see your progress!

I had no idea you lived in Utah ! I was born and raised in Utah and moved to the Murray/ Midvale area a year ago! I too lost my sweet mother about 4 years ago and when I saw this Pink House sampler I knew I needed to stitch it in remembrance of her. I really love your spool quilt hanging behind you - would you please let me know what pattern it is and who it’s by? There are so many fall fabrics out right now that would be awesome in that pattern. I have the Lori Holt quilt books as well and need to get them out and go through them again. There are so many quilts in them I want to do that I get overwhelmed and can’t decide which one to do first, so I haven’t done any of them! I need to do a QAL with Lori and just get one done! I just watched Celeste’s video about two hours ago and immediately ordered the pink house sampler from 123 stitch. My mother passed away May 12, 2017 (the Friday before Mother’s Day 🥺)and I miss her so much she was my best friend and my next-door neighbor and I was her caregiver for the last 6 years of her life. It was a privilege. I don’t have Instagram but I’m going to be doing this beautiful pattern with all of you to be finished by Mother’s Day. My mothers favorite color was pink!!!

They are not cross stitch but a straight stitch or back stitch and are adorable!!! She has witch series that is super neat. They stitch up fast and can be put in a quilt or framed. 😊

I truly enjoyed this video; it was so much fun to see how excited you are about doing your October season stitching! It is so fun to look forward to what you have planned, so enjoy. I love your quilts and seeing things that you want to do by Lori Holt; I love her color combination with the aqua color with the wonderful old fashioned fabrics and designs that remind me of good time past. I started the Pink House today for Julie McConnell’s #outofthestashatlast that started today. We had to pick four projects to start that are ones we have wanted to do for a long time but they have been passed over for whatever reason. We posted a picture today of our project, stitch on it until next Wednesday, then post a picture of our progress. We do this for four weeks in October. Julie thought this would be fun since they had to cancel their fall retreat. I think it will be fun. Enjoy the SAL’s and events that you are participating in. Happy stitching.........................

There are so many quilts in them I want to do that I get overwhelmed and can’t decide which one to do first, so I haven’t done any of them! I need to do a QAL with Lori and just get one done! I just watched Celeste’s video about two hours ago and immediately ordered the pink house sampler from 123 stitch. My mother passed away May 12, 2017 (the Friday before Mother’s Day 🥺)and I miss her so much she was my best friend and my next-door neighbor and I was her caregiver for the last 6 years of her life. It was a privilege. I don’t have Instagram but I’m going to be doing this beautiful pattern with all of you to be finished by Mother’s Day. My mothers favorite color was pink!!!

Love autumn and your quilts. I grew up riding to school on a bus that drive through Turkey Hollow therefore I have that chart to do also.....
Also if one I’ve two is too sparse and two over tie too clumpy try reversible stitch it only uses one thread and gives great coverage....

I sometimes am okay with it but certain pieces I’m not a fan. I wish I could stitch faster on 40 count! I don’t know how you even see the holes on 46 count, you amaze me!!! Happy stitching friend!
Oh, I ordered a new piece of murky for the Halloween on Hollyberry farm. But the silk thread is a great idea and I might do that on the 36 for better coverage! ❤️🧵❤️

I love your videos! Thank you for sharing. Since you like fall/Halloween have you seen Crabapple Hill Studios patterns? They are not cross stitch but a straight stitch or back stitch and are adorable!!! She has witch series that is super neat. They stitch up fast and can be put in a quilt or framed. 😊

I truly enjoyed this video; it was so much fun to see how excited you are about doing your October season stitching! It is so fun to look forward to what you have planned, so enjoy. I love your quilts and seeing things that you want to do by Lori Holt; I love her color combination with the aqua color with the wonderful old fashioned fabrics and designs that remind me of good time past. I started the Pink House today for Julie McConnell’s #outofthestashatlast that started today. We had to pick four projects to start that are ones we have wanted to do for a long time but they have been passed over for whatever reason. We posted a picture today of our project, stitch on it until next Wednesday, then post a picture of our progress. We do this for four weeks in October. Julie thought this would be fun since they had to cancel their fall retreat. I think it will be fun. Enjoy the SAL’s and events that you are participating in. Happy stitching.........................
