Softnyx has to be if not the worst, one of the worst game companies for mmo games, they ruin every single game they launch with cash money system, pay to win in other words, no fun if you play without paying, then they leave the doors open for all sorts of hackers. And if its not enough the High pings or lag is inevitable, this game is so badly managed that they made it impossible to enjoy for the good old starter players of gun bound, you know, the only times when these games were actually very good. I didn't spent money until the last 2 years of gameplay before quiting to play C9 (another game with issues heh) and one day I felt nostalgic to play Rakion I couldnt cuz my acc had be banned for hacking... I asked them to verify IPs or something and they didnt just care and I was told to choose whether i was gonna stay banned or get my acc back with my characters at lvl 1 and nothing else.. Fuck them.

i have been watching this vid since 2012 and until now, this vid did a very good job at when i tired of rakionIS n about to quit,i watched this vid n the feel of epic fight just really awesome,make me want to get back to the game with my clan. thank you Zeth for great job.

Honestly the reason why I asked is because of the class advancement, I've been wanting spears in Rakion since the game released. I'm at about lvl 40 when I quit and I just wanted to know if it's worth the time trying to level to 99. I've spent some cash and PU so I might be able to tolerate the maxed stat strat and cells.

(I'm planning to get a better dagger eventually). All offensive stats were at 100, armor and hp at 50, cp and move speed at 100, and attck speed at 150 (this one shouldnt really go above 100 since its easy to hit max attck speed), before I got my set +15above. Google a rakion bungeholes website, they got a char calculator
Well that depends on the class to begin with (Max blacks have 454 hp and ap -.- for example). The funny thing about high lvl/stats matches is that they can be more intense and delightful than when played at low lvls, that is of course after you realize how much has your character grown in power after some serious time playing rakion.
This game really deserves some sort of remake, fast paced and skill based unless you played against cashers :/ never put any money into it, still had a lot of fun playing it. Agree that Softnyx should definitely not be in charged of games like these. Wolfteam was a decent one as well but the pay to win was too strong there.

I will always prefer playing in a room filled with DBs rather than Kings. It depends on how do you use them. If you want and oldschool rakion game you can always play a NSE NDB room (Few players don't use DBs in South America ), but If you want fast-paced action use DBs, its fun between high levels, for example the action that takes place at 7:20 where I dodge the spears' special is on slow motion but If you see the original recording this took place in less than 2 seconds xD.

Hmm that depends on where you used to play. I'd say the servers continue to be inactive, but if you come back it will be a lot easier for you to level and get event stuff than years back. Most active servers are USA1, European Union, and Philipines1, these servers have also been segregated from the rest of the world since no one else may go there, but they do can come other servers like South America.

I takes a long time but you will earn gameplay experience and skill. I played with gold only for nearly 5 years and no PU nor any cash item (I even got my 3 regular panzers to lvl 99). Then I charged cash to adqurie PU and eventually got to lvl 99.
Para jugar sin efectos basta retirarte los items que lo tengan (llámense freeze, fear, leech...) y jugar con las habilidades propias de tu personaje y tus sabiamente distribuidos puntos. Lo monótono aquí es más bien que no puedas apreciar si hay alguna superioridad al comparar ambas clases precisamente porque la pelea se ve afectada -a cada rato- por los continuos efectos. Bueno, y eso de esperar a que otro ataque es carencia de técnicas, no es que uno se vea obligado a jugar asi en modo basico.

Hmm south amercia doesnt have that much of a hacker problem, but the LAG hell yeah, it has become really hard to play on a room before it gets filled with laggers and MK NS BT spammers. Not to mention they can hurt you but u can't.
Its literally like Softnyx painted the Mona Lisa but then shortly after every single staff member in their HQ took turns taking a shit on it. At its peak this game was one of the most well balanced game purely skill based where can be non-paying user at level 35 and still clapping level 60-70 cheeks left and right. To me it all started with Death Blow rings when everyone started blowing their wallets on 3 Death Blows +15 and started doing their Special Attacks with 0.1 second delay But they didn't even stop there they just kept on milking that cow till it disintegrated. Fs in the chat bois.
Personally I think King cells ruined the already delicate balance long before DB rings. Had been playing with gold only until that point, lv99 panzer team as cells, +10-12 enhancements but then the gap against cash/PU started going nuts 😆

They banned me for some fucking reason in 2014-2015 I think even though I wasn't playing anymore _(found out a year after the ban 😆)_ and wanted me to admit it so that I'd be given my acc back with a lvl 1 main and 1 gold or some BS agreement. Told them to fuck off. Years later, 2019 or so, I find out they'd just _literally_ unbanned everyone. And they did.... my acc was back, fully... but no people to play with in South America, region-blocked to US and EU1, and lag everywhere else. Truly, a shitty company.

I didnt get any of those since I was lvl 89 then (but got my honor medal :D). Anyway the stat caps may be high yes. The other thing that I believed ruined everything were both the poke chance (way too much abuse like 50 lv99mks) and the previous potion disolve bug. South America is filled with ppl with +18 [posted] sets believing themselves to be pros and sh*t, so annoying.
The thing is, everyone has grown in power, so you basically take the same amount of damage, but with more health, and the fight drags on for a longer time. Sure, you're still punished as much from one mistake as you were during lower levels, but you can make up for it by taking advantage of mistakes that the enemy makes, and it just goes on for a longer time and all goes down to who has the most stable gameplay. I personally don't find that as entertaining as when you can die almost instantly.

My problem is no cash so I can't repeat the stages. Since I can't do that it takes me so long for even 1 level . Then Rakion comes along and resets 54 S to 0 I can't even get 50 now!!! I'm level 48 and I really can't get any higher.
Nah, I thought that as well before turning. You level up lthe same way but don't gain addional stat points (It'd be cooler to get something per each lvl gain, not stat points but maybe some skill tree points or something more innovative). cAdv gives you a new avatar and the ability to use 2 new items; alternate main weapon (spear instead of sword) and protection bead (which breaks an enemy combo),

1° La idea del video era mostrar los ataques de la lanza cuando recien salió 2° Ninguno de los que aparecen aquí jugamos activamente Rakion en la actualidad, así que estás a salvo. 3° No uso Musketeer King, solo el pequeño. 4° Este es el Rakion Internacional / Global, no esa mierda del Rakion latino donde cualquier idiota obtiene rapidamente su equipamiento al maximo con el bug exploit y stat hacks excesivos que hay ahí.
My old post is irrelevant now. I got so annoyed at the amount of people killing me for no reason other than high enchants I did it... I POKED!! I feel so bad :s full +15 Icarus armour and 2 lvl 20 mk however a lvl 81 NS and +15 summer dagger +12 summer sword took no pokes.
Ill be posting a video about it one of these days, but you need to be lvl 99, achieve 50 S-Rank Stages, and 1000 wins. Then you get to do 2 basic-mode stages and then you become a 1st class char.
I do like rakion but I'm not exactly a pro. Like most players, I hacked for a little while but it is boring IMO. So now I've started again, with an old account. +8 Easter set +12 Easter dagger and +8 Icarus sword. I also have a +6 db and a 35NS 17WN and 16BN all without any cash.
Yeah I can't do anything about the Mk Ns and Bt. Only thing i can do is defend. I remember there was once I got ripped off pretty badly on Rakion cause of glitches, and I send a ticket to the customer support and they didn't reply at all. I wrote how I got ripped at the forum and they deleted it. I was so pissed off at their customer support and so finally I'm gone for good.

Not everyone is really a pro, there are many players now who have reached lvl 99 in less than a year without spending the proper ammount of time to master the game. Anyway, for a non-cash account as you mention you've got plenty cells there, what's your secret? :p
Nope, you just need to become an advanced character and then buy a spear weapon. You get the mercenary spear though (I didnt use it cuz it was a bit lame in stats).
Hi there. Uhm honestly I dont play the game much anymore. I'm more into C9 now which is in some ways a much more advanced version of Rakion. Still I do miss the fast-paced "medieval counter-strike"-like nature of Rakion though. The game is still there, but there are just way too many players with bug-abused max stated sets and laggy-cells polluting the servers which makes anyone dislike the game now.
Ah yes, the game is not balanced anymore, that's true. So you would suggest the players' attacks' damage should be decreased in order for fights to last longer? But If so, then cells should be nerfed too (even more) since they are the ones that can actually kill you instantly (Ex MK99 3-4 hits or NS99 3-5 hits to max stated player, less to say 1hit kill to a fragile player.)
It is fun, but sadly most ppl use overpowered cash/event items now (not necesary by paying) which makes them difficult to beat for new players. If you join, and need a few guidance you may contactme ingame.
Hmm easy, enter the inventory, open the potion slot, right click or double click ont he locked potion slots and accept when it tells you to pay. If im right... 4th slot costs 100k gold, 5th slot is 300k and 6th is 500k im not very sure about the last 2 though xD.
Seriously... I think at higher levels, you can take too much damage. I find it better when everybody has 0 upgrades. It actually feels like you do damage, and you have to be better at dodging, since you're punished too much if you even take one hit. That's just my opinion though.

Ademas si los jugadores se mueven y atacan más rápido hace que la lucha sea más entretenida. Para saber sobre los movimientos de la lanza hice un mini-tutorial al respecto.
Ohhhhh sure, the spear is totally awesome, I managed to master both sword and spear (spear gives you greater crowd control). Still, you have to meet players who will not spam crap like "adv cash noob" and sh1t like that, but it's worth it for sure hehe. (also you're faster in chaos than regular swordsman).
I used to own everyone at this game even the ones with 10 times better gear then me even when i had to attack them 100 times and they could kill me in 5. But then everyone started to hack
Wasn't only people hacking, but many bug exploiters who made their superly enhanced armors and sets to empower themselves. Yeah I remember the good days (and the very old ones as well). Back when I was Lv40 with a gold purchased set (enhanced to +10 through mirthrils only) fighting lvls 80s and 90s for a long time.
Personally i think it was fine until the SOULS and KINGS came. I remember my then PU & cashless swordsman had a lot of trouble then dealing with PU beasts, when the enchants came, having him a +10 set with gold only helped me a lot to battle 99 friends (with little enchants) A year passed and when I retourned found an enourmous gap not only by the 15 enchants but the lv99 NSs (1hit ko). That ruined the game to me.

You simply put it on the main weapon slot (just like the sword). But must be an advanced character to wield it.

You level up lthe same way but don't gain addional stat points (It'd be cooler to get something per each lvl gain, not stat points but maybe some skill tree points or something more innovative). cAdv gives you a new avatar and the ability to use 2 new items; alternate main weapon (spear instead of sword) and protection bead (which breaks an enemy combo),

That sucks yeah. My Ninja needed a few more lvls to get to lvl 99 (had 50s) and now she can't become an advance character because of this.

Oh no dont worry about the free 15 cane sets, most of my friends disolved theirs as the new lvl 1 sets proved to be better. I didnt get any of those since I was lvl 89 then (but got my honor medal :D). Anyway the stat caps may be high yes. The other thing that I believed ruined everything were both the poke chance (way too much abuse like 50 lv99mks) and the previous potion disolve bug. South America is filled with ppl with +18 [posted] sets believing themselves to be pros and sh1t, so annoying.

4° Este es el Rakion Internacional / Global, no esa mierda del Rakion latino donde cualquier idiota obtiene rapidamente su equipamiento al maximo con el bug exploit y stat hacks excesivos que hay ahí.

My old post is irrelevant now. I got so annoyed at the amount of people killing me for no reason other than high enchants I did it... I POKED!! I feel so bad :s full +15 Icarus armour and 2 lvl 20 mk however a lvl 81 NS and +15 summer dagger +12 summer sword took no pokes.
Ill be posting a video about it one of these days, but you need to be lvl 99, achieve 50 S-Rank Stages, and 1000 wins. Then you get to do 2 basic-mode stages and then you become a 1st class char.
I do like rakion but I'm not exactly a pro. Like most players, I hacked for a little while but it is boring IMO. So now I've started again, with an old account. +8 Easter set +12 Easter dagger and +8 Icarus sword. I also have a +6 db and a 35NS 17WN and 16BN all without any cash.

Yeah I can't do anything about the Mk Ns and Bt. Only thing i can do is defend. I remember there was once I got ripped off pretty badly on Rakion cause of glitches, and I send a ticket to the customer support and they didn't reply at all. I wrote how I got ripped at the forum and they deleted it. I was so pissed off at their customer support and so finally I'm gone for good.

i guess the only solution for that is to turn-off your AV. my avira recognizes my rakion as malware, so i had to turn it off and then poof! i can play again

Not everyone is really a pro, there are many players now who have reached lvl 99 in less than a year without spending the proper ammount of time to master the game. Anyway, for a non-cash account as you mention you've got plenty cells there, what's your secret? :p

Nope, you just need to become an advanced character and then buy a spear weapon. You get the mercenary spear though (I didnt use it cuz it was a bit lame in stats).

Hi there. Uhm honestly I dont play the game much anymore. I'm more into C9 now which is in some ways a much more advanced version of Rakion. Still I do miss the fast-paced "medieval counter-strike"-like nature of Rakion though. The game is still there, but there are just way too many players with bug-abused max stated sets and laggy-cells polluting the servers which makes anyone dislike the game now.
Ah yes, the game is not balanced anymore, that's true. So you would suggest the players' attacks' damage should be decreased in order for fights to last longer? But If so, then cells should be nerfed too (even more) since they are the ones that can actually kill you instantly (Ex MK99 3-4 hits or NS99 3-5 hits to max stated player, less to say 1hit kill to a fragile player.)

It is fun, but sadly most ppl use overpowered cash/event items now (not necesary by paying) which makes them difficult to beat for new players. If you join, and need a few guidance you may contactme ingame.
Hmm easy, enter the inventory, open the potion slot, right click or double click ont he locked potion slots and accept when it tells you to pay. If im right... 4th slot costs 100k gold, 5th slot is 300k and 6th is 500k im not very sure about the last 2 though xD.
@carl1234514 You require Lvl99, 50 S ranks in stages, 1000 Victories; complete 2 Class Advancement Stages in A and there you go.

Seems everyone else but me are lucky on this game. Lol Congrats.
Seriously... I think at higher levels, you can take too much damage. I find it better when everybody has 0 upgrades. It actually feels like you do damage, and you have to be better at dodging, since you're punished too much if you even take one hit. That's just my opinion though.
Hmmm no necesariamente, si hubieramos querido jugar sin efectos habría sido en modo básico lo cual es aburridísimo, por lo que es lento y la gente tiende a esperar que el otro ataque antes y hace que la pelea sea muy monótona. Ademas si los jugadores se mueven y atacan más rápido hace que la lucha sea más entretenida.

Ohhhhh sure, the spear is totally awesome, I managed to master both sword and spear (spear gives you greater crowd control). Still, you have to meet players who will not spam crap like "adv cash noob" and sh1t like that, but it's worth it for sure hehe. (also you're faster in chaos than regular swordsman).
I used to own everyone at this game even the ones with 10 times better gear then me even when i had to attack them 100 times and they could kill me in 5. But then everyone started to hack
Wasn't only people hacking, but many bug exploiters who made their superly enhanced armors and sets to empower themselves. Yeah I remember the good days (and the very old ones as well). Back when I was Lv40 with a gold purchased set (enhanced to +10 through mirthrils only) fighting lvls 80s and 90s for a long time.

Personally i think it was fine until the SOULS and KINGS came. I remember my then PU & cashless swordsman had a lot of trouble then dealing with PU beasts, when the enchants came, having him a +10 set with gold only helped me a lot to battle 99 friends (with little enchants) A year passed and when I retourned found an enourmous gap not only by the 15 enchants but the lv99 NSs (1hit ko). That ruined the game to me.
