I am a huge fan and have been on the fence for some time about taking your course. I have watched your full length video of the Mississippi Reflections and wondered if that is a lesson? My concern is that you just paint. Do the lessons offer any advice as to color mixing, brush to use, etc.? I have painted off and on for most of my life, but never had any formal training and now that I am retired and just coming out of breast cancer I feel like the time is now for me. I had planned to go to art school 48 years ago, but got married instead and life just got in the way of my art. I am ready now, but want to choose the best path.
Hello! The answer to yours question is YES, YES, YES! We talk about mixing color, edges, brushes and tools, mediums, surfaces, composition and design, every possible thing we can think of to share. And then there are the concept lessons which directly talk about individual things. We also have a FB page where we issue challenges and our students post what they are learning. I am a huge fan of your work and I think I have viewed every upload you have ever shown on TH-cam, some many times over. I am very envious of those people lucky enough to join you at one of your live tutorials. Just a huge shame the USA is such a distance from the UK and so I doubt that I will ever get the chance to do so.
