I have a race used NASCAR tire. Does anyone know how to decipher the paint pen writings on it? Also is there a way to know who the driver was of the tire?

What about when they burn or melt something off the tires during the race?

It’s scraping the debris or rubber that has been picked up off the track so they can get to the dimples and have a accurate measurement.
