I came to this video wondering if there was an easier/quicker method to model and it seems there isn't 😆 Very nice work and I appreciate you sharing this. Do you think it would have been easier to place the pattern inside of a cube and trimmed it to form a solid that you could then model/trim the glasses around? I guess if you already had the glasses modeled, the boolean cut would be quicker.
wow dude! respect! indeed a neat job. I have happened to see one 3D printed and whole surface is a honeycomb desing. do you think you can figure it out how?
Hi there. I guess you are looking for a Solidworks method to create the honeycomb? Me too! ;-) I have done something like this with a combination of poisson vertex shading in meshlab and modelling in Blender. I keep meaning to try and do something similar in Solidworks. Thanks for reminding me. I may give that another go at honeycomb solidworks modelling and let you know how I get on.
Hi, Max This is really interesting to me not only because you made Gyroid totally in a different way from others but also because it is very new way to use SolidWorks. So I just wonder if you could share your SolidWorks file itself. I will use it only for my education of SolidWorks.
🤯 amazing work and patience

Can you share the file? I want to make some models with a gyroid pattern.
can you show us the whole process of integrating it into the spectacles as well?
yes please
Can you please make a tutorial on how to model the frame?
you are hero
This is great. Can you please share the soildworks file?

Remasters Eyewear we're talking about this honeycomb right? Otherwise the normal one is easy
