    Thank you, Kay! I am making the Orca wall hanging for my grand daughter and this is wonderful instruction to help me get the hangers correct. :)

    I can just watch your videos all day long! I find them mesmerizing, I watch them even when I'm not sewing anything, so when I do sew I have a heads up of the concept. Thank you for another GREAT stitch out!

    Used these instructions for the Three Kings wall hanging and it turned out fabulous! I also used the blanks to create my own design for Halloween and was going to post a picture for you but I don't see how to attach it. I'm happy to share if you can advise how to do it. Great instructions and a joy to stitch!

      Hi Cindy If you join Kreative Kiwi's Facebook group (answer the joining questions or applications get rejected) you can post photos on there of your Kreative Kiwi stitch outs and I will be able to see them. I look forward to seeing your photos. If you have added non Kreative Kiwi designs to it add that they are not KK so dont ask in order not to breach the group rules facebook.com/groups/kreativekiwi/

    Great video! Thanks for sharing! May I know why it needs batting?

    • @KaysCutz
      @KaysCutz  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Batting is used for several reasons. Firstly the quilting on the batting prevents puckering when the silhouettes are stitched out. Also as the fabric and batting are quilted it makes it slightly padded so that not only does it hold it's shape properly when used and washed but if it is used as a table runner it makes it absorbent of heat and moisture. Thanks for watching.

    Can you use tape to secure the panels together

    • @KaysCutz
      @KaysCutz  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Once a panel is released from the hoop it relaxes so pins are better as they stretch the loose one back to the hooped one so it can be sewn together without any size difference or you can remove them from the hoop and join them on your sewing machine instead, in which case line them up and sew. Tape will always allow movement and you don't want that when joining two panels together. I hope this helps.

    Awesome video Kay! I can not find the Large Squizzors in US and I can not order from FR. Is there a site in the US to Order Large Squizzors? TY

      Thanks Kathrine pleased you enjoyed it. I am not in the US so I really dont know. I can only suggest you try Amazon.com. Look for aquarium scissors as that is what mine are.

      Katherine I have found some in the UK that sells them I dont have a brand on mine but they look the same and have a 5 star rating. I dont know if they would post them to you but you could contact them. www.co2supermarket.co.uk/aquarium-scissors-spring-sprung-curved-p240.html
