By now, typical EFI combustion engines feel like they're 80's Carburetor engines. Going Hybrid seems like the only sensible way to go if you can afford it. Only about 300-400k difference from your CVT variant. The refined driving experience and efficiency is definitely worth paying extra for.

Some features Toyota PH may consider for the 2021 model (if they really listen to consumer demands 😂): 1. Increase the head unit monitor to 8", plus optional for 10"; 2. Please please! Include Android Auto/Apple Car Play; 3. Wireless charging for smartphones; 4. More speakers for entertainment purposes; & 5. Toyota Safety Sense 2.0.

Nice new model! Mine is an old model 2010 Toyota Corolla XLI 1.6 Liters. Here it's called "Corolla XLI" while in the Philippines "Altis" Different Country, different name! But it's the same model.
I would still prefer the dashboard of the older altis as well as the overall design, the reason why I didn’t choose to let it go and upgrade to this one

It's better to check the website of Toyota Motor Philippines or go to your nearest dealer for the prices, he wasn't allowed by the dealership to include the prices on this video.
The infotainment system may be a drawback but hey, its still a touchscreen headunit pretty much having the same function with the other touchscreen infotainment system......you want a real infotainment drawback? try Hyundai's Elantra, and you can definitely say its really a drawback
I just realised that the bottom USB cut out is left uncut. Does it mean that we have to plug a cable directly to the infotainment system’s body shown in @6:18? Who on earth decided to go with this lousy design?

Sir i think you got it wrong reviewing the engine..its already 12th gen corrolla meaning its all new modification and new engine..this brand is the only compact sedan that has more power in its new engine..
Gladwyn Villaflor I beg to disagree. Engine is still the same as the previous corolla. True, horses could go higher for better tuning but overall engine is the same.
With each change Toyota did something gd but then they must cockup some areas: The good: sportier front design, double wishbone suspension aka TNGA platform for better handling, improved brake coolant design from what I see (the previous gen always have the pink coolant residue spilling out), extra glass area near A pillar to reduce blind spots The bad: atrocious head unit that looks like a TV set from the 80s (Thai models have a different setup but from what I see here it seems they just shove the head unit into that box-like housing, perhaps easier for owners to swap out the stock HU if they desire), thick bulging dashboard at passenger side don't know for what purpose (maybe to put a book or newspapers there lol), no more engine cover (why cut cost on that?), still no locking & unlocking from passenger door, the rear design I'm not so sure, IMO previous model looks better. I guess in this segment, Honda Civic for sportiness, Mazda 3 for design and class, Toyota Corolla for comfort

The 2021 Corolla Altis V and V Hybrid already gets the 8-inch infotainment system with Apple Carplay and Android Auto.
