I own the original 011D It's been a beautiful case for my build. This is very nice. I now own a MO-RA 360 I run parallel loops cpu/gpu I no longer worry about cooling. If I were to sell mine and start a new build in a year or so. I would strongly look at this one vs. the 011D EVO. I like fish tanks. Thanks for this video the music was on spot.
I am thinking that with a custom water cooled solution for both CPU and GPU the thermals would improve substantially. 240 radiator at the back and 360 radiator at the side. 3 140mm fans at the bottom as intake and then the 2 120 at the back and the 2 top from the side setup as exhaust while the 3rd at the bottom of the side setup as intake, together with the 3 140mm will keep positive pressure. Also a water cooled GPU occupies less space. And having 4 120mm over the radiators as exhaust and only 1 as intake will improve the thermal. I will find out sometime in early February when I get all the pieces and I put my first O11 vision water cooled build together. .

Feel like the negative pressure in this case would make the thermals higher with this fan set up. I think the bottom fans as intake, exhaust as out take, and aio with out take would make it much better. Have you tried this? I am curious. Also, to alleviate too much positive pressure, put the motherboard up and only have one exhaust fan.
it's been demonstrated that 3 fan aio config should be blowing out, for this case, not a great improvement, but best. 2 fan aio config rear, should be exhaust
For a case that expose almost every angle of the build, they could’ve used the same approach as the NV7 to cover the cables a bit better. Grommets right in your face knocks down the premium appeal of the case.
Fans are over rated, perfect case for a mATX build is the Jonsbo V4. When I saw the V4 I had to buy right away, never saw a case so perfect. No Vents on Top, No Vents on the sides, just vents on the bottom and a place for two 80mm exhaust fans on the back. No cable Managment. Only removeable panel is one side cover. Perfect.. RGB, yes the power switch, or LED anyway.
What a lovely case. Yes no matter what if they build such great iterations then yes we definitely need more o11 cases. Pretty sure the thermals are shit because this is specifically made to custom loop. Because the gpu is injecting hot air inside & not enough exhaust. But yeah normal o11 will have better thermals for sure.
Im so ocd about fingerprints in and on my glass cases. Not having any metal edges at all to handle the panels would make a problem. I like the h9 single bare edge design more.
I wonder if the thermals are worth it. I plan on running a Galahad Trinity INF with fans swapped to TL-LCD reverse fans, so I'm going to take a hit there already.
I've been running the 011 Dynamic since it came out, and this might be my favorite version of it. Also, leave off all the glass and this would be a cool open air chassis or a test bench.
I love the case it is beautiful but the thermals I'm not to fond of. My 5000D Airflow and my 4000D Airflow will stomp it in that department but they can't beat the looks of it
Temps killed it for me, also need something my aero 4090 12pin wont touch the glass, this doesn’t look too thick enough for that, pretty sure it’s much bigger then the fe. Also are we trusting the strimmer cables on 4090s now? Always heard that was a no go cause of melted 12pin connectors

Put some decorative items in which don't disrupt the airflow too much. I am thinking of little suspended fish myself, to match the overall fishtank vibes haha

I have a 360 aio for my cpu and a vertically mountr 4:38 d MSI suprim liquid x with the 240 rad, both are in push pull in the OG O11 Dynamic non evo. Anyway will that card fit vertically with the 240 rad above it... not in push pull of course?
You can mount 3x140mm fans at the bottom not 2x 140mm! Don’t want to be annoying but get ur facts right as people trust u and u will confuse them more than u help them
8:00 Sorry but Yes you can use the Verticals as (intakes) exhausting out the side if the bottom fans are intaking cool air from the outside bottom of the case. The only difference between an 011D is vertical versus top exhaust. Both are pulling cool air in from the bottom. Worse would be in taking cooler in from both the bottom and the top, not to mention hot air rises. Test it.
form over function now huh. they dropped the fan support for the top of the case for glass and ruined the airflow and temps..... that is the beauty of the 0-11. this is nice, but no more than that
Im thinking about building in this case soon. Any thoughts on running bottom 3 fans intake, 1 rear fan intake and 6 aio fans in pushpull as exhaust? I know this might hurt cpu temps somewhat but 360 mm radiator in pushpull should be enough for 7700x that i plan on buying
I am hearing from other reviewers, and even from Lian Li, that the recommended config is 3 as intake (6 if doing push pull)on the side, 3 intake on the bottom, and 2 rear exhaust (using the low configuration). I was going to do this but I really want to vertically mount my gpu. I am going with an all white build and my gpu looks significantly better vertically mounted.

the lian li galahad lcd is terrible loud even after exchanging. The software terrible too. I expected more from lian li tbh. Went back to NZXT flawless Software nice AIO. even if its the astek gen 7. its much quieter at same RPM
If you like being in the dark, then go Zero RGB. If you like to shine, then go RGB all they way. It's your choice! P.S. Aquaman invented the fish tank. That is where all the bad little fishies go for time out.
In the same boat as u. I build in the nv5 for my last month and it’s pretty nice. Im leaning more towards buying the o11 vision for my personal pc because it looks nicer but I’m pretty sure you get better thermals in nv5. Also, just curious, what fans do you plan on getting?
@@rigbyyy2204 the more I look into in and see other reviews the more I think I am going NV5. I really want to go with a vertical gpu mount and that further complicates the thermals in the O11 Vision. Phanteks makes a sweet looking premium vertical gpu mount for the NV5. I will be using Corsair icue link components (h150i and qx120 fans).
Funny how we responded to eachothers comments. Its a tuff choice choosing between cases. Also I asked about fans because you definitely want reverse fans if ur rly going for nice aesthetics. I dont think corsair makes any reverse fans from what i know. If reverse fans aren’t something ur familiar with i highly recommend u look into it because with all glass cases like the o11 vision or nv5 you want all your intake fans to be reverse so it looks way nicer. Also im guessing your going for the corsair aio with the screen? your build is gonna look sick!

Badly designed case for airflow. That things going to be a vacuum with so many intake areas and only the rear exhaust.

Im confused. Lían li website says the bottom supports 3 140mm fans. You say it only supports 2 140mm or 3 120mm.
