My only hate is my DAB radio which has that much bass coming out of it i cannot hear anything but muffled noises. I cannot wait to replace it but having listened to your video it seems that they might all be built to pump out bass, which is fine out in the open air but not in a dwelling. Does having the presets for rock jazz and classical have any impact on the bass or not.
The DMR 114 has been replaced by MR002G, which can use 40V batteries. HOWEVER, they dropped the woofer, 2 amps and EQ and sounds. The new one is supposed to last longer.

You can adjust the bass mid treble and as well with my equaliser but if you turn it up too loud it can distort the woofer

I had a mini anxiety attack when buddy smashed the radio. Looks solid though. I think I'm gonna go buy it.
