Gotta be one of the brightest greens I've ever seen. It is a well done color scheme for sure. Gotta stick the landings though--this one is a bouncer.
I completely agree with you on how light this plane fly's. I put full span ailerons in to be always on so I had to fly with it super sensitive on the first flight. I just dialed back the rates and cranked up the expo and now it fly's incredibly good for my taste. Really happy with it. The roll rate is crazy fast on my mid rates so I might have to play around with the adjustments to get it dialed in. I got pretty adventurous on the second flight and was doing flat spins and blenders using mid rates. This plane can perform.

I knew you would like it alot. My Bighorn does not have flaps, you don't really need them. Great performing airplane. Nice maiden John.
Yeah, this one is going out again soon and I agree. Flaps aren't necessary.

I'd be interested to see what you end up with for your final setup as I think it would work well on my TimberX. It was a PNP and I've never quite been able to get it where I like it.
I'll be de-tuning the throws quite a bit. Even on low rates there was more than enough authority. The flaps will probably get slowed and travel limited. The surfaces on this plane give it enormous authority.

Yes, I am completely migrated to EdgeTX now. I don't have a Timber, so I can't compare to it, but this plane will definitely benefit from a couple of test and tune flights.

If U do not want flaps, is this plane worth the extra bucks as compared to the challenger?
Having not owned or flown the Challenger, I can't really offer an objective opinion. I like the looks of the Bighorn better.
@@RCVideoReviews It is that. It also is a true high wing play whereas the Challenger is more of an Ugly Stik they are the same size so the challenger, without flaps should be slightly lighter.
Your definition of low rates? 70%, 80%?
Depends on the plane. I look for about half the travel of full rates.
