- If you want to get acquainted with the local culture, then whatever country you are in, go to the places where the locals eat. There you will see the real flavor without the tourist decorations. But an inexperienced tourist may face difficulties - the local cuisine, especially if it is an eastern country, may turn out to be too spicy for a western tourist. Therefore, I decided to make a new video, where I tell you and show what they can offer you in local cafes, how much it costs (we all understand that they will want to take a double or triple price from the real cost), what any tourist can try and what is suitable only for those who are used to eat spicy food. I would also like to mention one more important point - hygiene, here in Sri Lanka, things are very good with it like for an Asian country. Visiting a local cafe, a newly arrived tourist might be a little scared looking at simple local places. But Sri Lanka is a very clean Asian country. For 14 months of my stay here, I have never gotten sick because of the food - and have eaten there quite often. To find out about everything else - whatch this video!

Hi Xtina, Glad you started vloging again. Stay strong and I think it is a good idea to start vloging in English, because more people will join with you. It's better to do your do your stuff alone for a while and perhaps later you can collaborate with local/foreign youtubers for short collaborations. It was you the only reason we watched your previous channel. Anyway, all water under the bridge and stay Sri Lanka and do something great. Morning it’s difficult to find hoppers as it needs time for mixer to set so usually these guys do it few hours before they prepare them also cafes get more people during evening time and finally they can be bit lazy otherwise they need to wake early to prepare hopper mixer I suppose you can do it previous night too

@@kristinatokar it helps up to some extent... but not fully. It is disturbing to read and watch at the same time. While m reading reading I misses lot of things. I noticed your English is excellent when you were doing programs with Johnny. I like to listen and watch than reading and watching. I think most of the people are like that. Another thing .. English is world wide and you may get lot of fans if you do in English....

Пользуются, и ещё у них все туалеты оборудованы специальным шлангом :), гораздо удобнее биде, очень умное решение и есть даже в самой дешевой забегаловке, они всегда подмываются, и в шоке, часто посмеиваются между собой над не на столько чистоплотными многочисленными странами, думают, что за дикость
